@@michaelsamuel9917 Wrong, the US lost some F-15s to sams in Iraq, but the key word is AERIAL COMBAT meaning the undefeated number only applies to air superoirty vriants, if a F-15 is carrying 20 bombs, it cant manuver as if it didnt

@@richardsears4665 Yes one F-15 was lost to Aerial combat in 1990 in the invasion of Kuwait Scott Spicer was shot down he was downed by a MiG 29, unfortunately his remains has never been found.

@@richardsears4665 This is not true. It doesn’t matter if it’s an A,B,C,D,E,I,J,SE,or EX, they’re all in the same category. Only reason why those losses aren’t included in the stats is because the aggressor was a SAM, not an aircraft. No F-15 variant has ever been shot down by another aircraft

I love F15s. Their body design is beyond words they are so beautiful and with a performance record to match, what's not to love? I wanted to be an Eagle Driver but I'm female and in the 90s that was not a thing. I would have loved the chance to see if I could have handled one but back then I was blocked (considering how I can handle some righteously modified late 60s B Body MoPars, though it's not the same, I think I could have done it) because I'm a woman. No matter, I still love em and am pretty stoked they've been upgraded and will be around for longer.

One of the most radical and incredible aircraft designs of the 20th century and well into the 21st century!! The boys in the technical department at the McDonnell Douglas plant were absolute genius when they came up with this design!!! It truly deserves the name "Eagle"!!!

The Eagle is a great aircraft. It got its pilot home with most of the one side of the wing blown off. It's not stealthy but it's a great machine .
