Excellent video my dude. The kit went right in. The Cutting was a little fun and the only thing I did different was take the steering rack off before the diff gave me clearance to get in to get the top left Bolt

Do I cut the front off of the Diff upper mount? It’s hard to see in this video what is the front and rear.

Does this fit on 2 wheel drive 2020 f150? I installed mine last might but I had to cut the front cross member down and I couldn’t drop the rack n pinion due to the frame being different. Now my tie rods arnt extended enough, what do I do please help

I had my dealership mechanic install this lift on my 2018, and I noticed he didnt set the lower control arm eccentric cams to full inboard they are pointing upwards. Should I be concerned? Another issue I am having is the lower part of the u-joint that attaches to the rack and pinion just barley rubs on the frame of the truck. The installers says there is no adjustment to move the rack over to make room for the u-joint. Adjusting the Heim joint will only move the upper part of the u-joint. Any idea what may have been installed incorrectly?

I would never do this to my truck. People always complain about steering issues after these kits are installed and if you want to know why you will have steering issues just compare the front axle angle at frame 2:17 to the one at frame 21:25. CV joints can’t survive with those kinds of excessive angles. If you want your truck lifted take it to the boys at Texas Metal and have them do it right. By the way I’m not affiliated with Texas Metal.

You do understand that the truck is off the ground in both time frames. No matter what vehicle, or setup you run. They will sag when no weight is on the suspension. The weight levels the CV axle angle back out.

Good video, but too much modification for my taste. I'd love to know how this type of lift affects your factory warranty if your truck is new. Kinda think *void* would be the operative term. As far as cutting into the crossmember, given the fact it's welded to the frame, that may be considered structural damage, or structural modification. Not completely sure on that one. The one piece of advice that's missing from a lot of these types of videos is you should always check about warranty issues when making modifications. Granted, some people may simply not care, but I certainly would. I recently purchased a 2020 F150 5.0, and there's definitely some things I'd like to do with it, but not before investigating what will, or will not void my warranty.

Hey guys, is there any splash guards on the market that with fit with this lift? I haven't anything that will work in the front due to the tire hitting the guard when turning. I'm running the same lift with 20" rims and 35's

a lift is pretty dumb without an oncrease in suspension travel. a real long travel suspension will eat this for breakfast offroad, lift kits are just for show

My truck is a survival/emergency response vehicle. It sees 90% of its time on the road. But has this lift for clearance and the few times we get into sketchy wilderness areas when trying to reach patients. The lift works absolutely great for me.

This is just for show if you're using a 7" strut spacer. That's just ridiculous. Spent all that money on wheels,tires,lighting,graphics,interior and then thru strut spacers at it.....nope! Spend the money and get coilovers.
