@@cs512tr yes. Since Razbam refuses to give up the code until the dispute is over (which means it may take several years or be endless), it's technically "abandonware".

Great video... I'm not an Eagle Driver (Viper here) but what are people complaining about? this module looks to be operational?... is it about the updates or are there main systems INOP?

Me neither, but I know about the fact, that they won’t be updating the module, meaning no addition of further features will be made such as the WSO, which is a bit upsetting.

@@BingoFuel07 The only reason for Razbam to burn their bridges with DCS is if they found greener pastures elsewhere like MSFS. Third parties need platforms like DCS... but DCS can survive without Raz. If the dispute was about exclusivity of the module to DCS only, then that is a stupid issue, because people are with DCS for different reasons than using MSFS....who cares if the F15 is on MSFS.

Hey, im confused in getting a 1440p 240 hz monitor vs 4k 144 hz.. I play both DCS n FPS games but is the jump from 1440p to 4k that noticeable? I’ve a 4080super with i7-14 gen

Me too! I mean graphics wise, it seems you can support that. Performance wise it made a lot of a difference for me since I have to record in 4K 60FPS from the 1440 I've been using before. I have an RTX3080 though, so you should be prepared better.

Try out how well you can run DCS on 4K, you should be able to change that in your system and game settings. If your setup can handle it, go for it! 👍

Great video, but small side note on your takeoff. You don't wanna burn like that, normally you would throttle up to 80% and then roll, then go in to burner after a few seconds.

DCS would be better if the missions only allowed for so many air to ground so that the people in the server actually worked together. I fly the A10 and there are like 10 enemy fighters with one person pulling cap. Get blown out the sky. No one wants to fly even two ship missions. That is the unrealistic part
