F-16A Stock PAIN Experience

I've decided to stock grind F-16A after F-20 Tigershark was added to War Thunder in Alpha Strike update. So here's how it went.

This aircraft literally almost made me quit the game. Starting with just two 9J what the actual f. I ended up quitting eventually anyway but jeez... Also 6 9L at 12.0 when everyone else has 27ER and 7M/9M and so on.... It definitely has lost it's place as top dog and is obsolete. Only viable at all with Unicorns.

Cracked flight model and aim 9L's that arent even that bad, basically unflarable from rear if you dont turn off engine. R27ER's and Aim 7M/F's easily dodgeable by staying low to deck. Aim 9ms only found on top tier planes at 12.7 (and on the f15 which should not be fucking 12.3 lol) This thing, unlike 12.7's that face only 11.7's at full downtier, faces 11.0's where it dominates. Get ADF if you want sparrows but everyone sticks to deck nowadays anyways so not much point.

At first F-16 Block 10 didn’t have wiring and radar modes to guide SARHs irl iirc. Those planes were definitely upgraded down the line, but Gaijin probably based US 16A around that early information.

@@GUSWT The F-16A ADF is the upgraded one, it's in a folder with the F-16A and can carry Sparrows

6:33 did you use radar with an aim9??? Also any tips for newer player? I’m trying to use the F4S but it’s not like the f5 where there’s no consequence for sky climbing and dropping a missile on people or shooting them. I’m ok at staying aware and still trying to figure out how the radar works perfectly before I go back into battles with it

Climb high and use Aim7s, just make sure to hold radar lock, and then boom and zoom once the skies clear a little bit

It isn't that bad i get a full uptier rarely because the f4s base bombers keep me at 12.0

@@Mehumatti I guess thats your personal experience, i tryed exactly that and in the first 20 matches i had 1 downtier to 12.0, the rest was uptiers to 13.7.
