@@grimreapers I'm in open beta. So that why I'm so confused everyone I watch has that at 2:20 and for I'm positive I'm on open beta cause it says 2.5.6 and my friend had the stable version and struggled to join us until he realizes he was on the stable version instead of beta version.

Every time. For the channels I really enjoy I disable ad blocker and let the ads run. Although some channels have some really long ads, like 5 mins but they are rare and I honestly skip those.

To clarify, you must always uncage the Aim9 before you can fire it even after getting a lock as opposed to the F/A-18, wherein you automatically have a tone once locked?

Pushing and holding 'Enable Switch - Depress' seems not functional for me. I double checked it's already assigned to a specific button. I have to use MFD whenever I need to switch. Any idea?

I can't get my missile to fire at target even though I have my enemy locked and uncaged the missile

The MSL STEP button no longer changes between missile types, it only cycles between positions of the same missile. Which means there is no longer any on-stick way to change to AMRAAM during a dogfight. Sad :(

Hello i have a question, one time i was playing with a buddy on a server he bought. Once i joined (i hadn't had any custom skins downloaded at all) i was able to select an RAF british skin on a F/A - 18C and now i'm wonmdering it is possible to set skins in a mission folder so when i player joins he auto downloads skins that the server has = everyone sees custom skins ?

[5:14] As far as I know, when AIM-9 sidewinder flies, it literally flies from side to side like a sidewinder snake. kzbin.info/www/bejne/npaciKlqaseqabM I wonder if the flying image of AIM-9 in the game is properly described.

It does seem like that in the video you linked, but when I look at other footage of sidewinders being fired they always fly very straight, and looking up the name origin suggested that the snake found it targets due to the heat signature, just like the missile ...tbh if I had a snake that does this I'd call it Fox-2

It's because only the front fins move (the GCS). The rear ones are fixed and have these funniy little hinged control surfaces with little wheels spinning from the airflow. The gyro effect makes those surfaces move. So it's bit weird but it gewts the job done simply. Of course the sidewinder is a snake that homes in on heat sources and slithers kinda sideway. Good name for missile I wonder who came up with it.

Set on of your Joystick buttons to TMS Up/Forward, and press that. That's how I did it.

Hey Cap. Are you guys trying to find workarounds to the current 2.6 performance issues. Great looking changes from ED, so kudos to them but in MP and solo combat its s slide show most of the time compared to performance before the update.

Got a suggestion for GR. Theres a mobile game called Gunship III by Phanotek. Its basically DCS on mobile, only low fid aircraft. You guys should try it out and try an operation. Also missles are kinda OP, so be sure to have some. Try having this flight for allied aircraft: 3 F-4 or F-5 fighter cover and 4 Strike aircraft (F-100, F-105, F-111, A-1, A-4) For Vietnamese AF, Have 2 Silver Mig 21s and 2 camo mig 21s If you do choose this, have fun! c:
