Took me a minute watching them take off to realize it was slow motion. Kinda looked like a C5 ya know?😄 rolling down the runway looking like it won't rotate.

i thought it was taxing to the runway and that part was sped up until it tilted up for takeoff

1:40 What the heck are those flared scale looking moving things over the raptor's back, that genuinely gives me some creepy vibes for some ungodly reason, like watching nasty insects crawl in a ball.

Well, it's a VLO stealth fighter, so it's going to have some weirdly-shaped, sometimes scary-looking parts. Even its exhaust nozzles look kind of scary--like a couple of mechanical beaks ready to bite your head off. The parts you're referring to are simply the overpressure doors, which cover a vent on the dorsal (top) side of the intake ducts, in front of the actual engine fans. This is a common feature in fighters, generally allowing for higher speeds and greater engine reliability at low altitudes. On an F-22 they seldom open in flight, but when they do it's because based on sensor readings there is too much air getting rammed into the engines for them to handle, making for excessive pressure; obviously, opening these serrated (for stealth) doors allows the excess air to vent out. Here, they open while on the runway only as part of a self-test that every F-22 undergoes before it is cleared for takeoff. By the way, there are other vents in front of these doors, but most of them are always open and covered by screens that shield them from radar. I'm talking about things like boundary layer bleed vents (which dump the turbulent air touching the airframe, protecting the engines from that) and maybe some cooling vents, and such.
