Maybe unpopular opinion,but I have no idea what the "falling leaf" maneuver is supposed to look like. All I see is a zoomed in jet that is rotating on a couple of axis. Might as well be watching a graphic effects artist manually rotate a CGI render of the jet in 3DS Max or something.
@tombchaser4 ай бұрын
@@jeremyb465 the jet is purposely being stalled (cutting throttle to basicly idle and if needed speed brakes are used as well) what causes the jet to basicly fall out of the sky. it becomes a falling leaf like motion by using the rudder from 1 side to the other side to prevent a out-of-control helical spin towards the ground. it usually takes the controls to their maximum limits to get the plane to respond. if performed at a low altitude 1 mistake/error can easily cause a crash.

Mind blowing things that airplanes aren’t supposed to be able to do, like stopping in the sky and just hanging there in position and then levelling off in place, turning like it’s on a turntable, still not moving forward and then blasting off in the new direction. @@user-ej5bd4oq5v A US vs US pilot duel would be amazing but not an f14 vs a raptor. You can’t do anything with a plan that can come to a stop, fall out of the air for thousands of feet before changing directions to shoot down the Tomcat at the base of the said horizontal falling leaf maneuver. WTF. It would never get to that anyway because the F22 would knock the Tomcat out of the sky from longer distance while being mostly invisible. 😬😬😬😬😎🔥🔥🔥

Fantastic display all the maneuvers to show off the F22 capabilities with the inputs of an experienced pilot, not forgetting a nice bit of☁ fluffage ☁between each set.💯 Not to forget the photography 👏👌

I have to give the camera work a million thumbs up. Clearly an expert here. I tried filming the F-22 Raptor and Blue Angels, who performed in my hometown over the weekend. It's damn difficult to do.

F-22 AND F-35 on the same team......enemies should be quaking in their boots! Great video of a fantastic performance!

Russian and Chinese pilots are praying to god to never get into a fight with them. Not to mention Hornets, Falcons and Eagles.

Showing how graceful this plane can be, deadly and graceful all at the same time.

That looks like a great show. I saw the raptor 2x this year and that show looked the best.

My husband worked on the Boeing Prototype for the F-22... wish we had gotten that contract, but its still a beautiful jet, incredible technology.
