Without doubt, the F-35A Lightning II is my all-time favourite jet fighter. It’s the most technologically advanced, has the best looking design and it’s P&W F-135 turbofan engine sounds the best in person imo.

F-35 will only be good as it weapons. Luckily Lockheed Martin is working on a air-to-air which should allowed the f-35 to carry 12 Missiles eternally. Also, in development is LREW which is a long range Missile.

Probably impossible after the purchase of the S-400s by the Indian Army. Turkey was denied access to these after doing a similar deal, even though they participated in the designing of the F-35.

Sorry but it won't be possible since India has already purchased Russian S400 missile systems and F35 and S400 are just not in the same boat. Same happened with Turkey when they purchased S 400. And India is already making its own stealth fighter HAL AMCA . Even though, the F 35 is still a beautiful bird.

In close quarters both would lose and judging by the amount of aircraft made at the time and the equipement (no missiles for example) both would be utterly useless... i'm not even gonna mention maintenance. They could be used for observation on the other hand...

They fly too fast to effectively be targeted by WW2 era fighters, and also the F-35's turn rate in degrees per second is actually higher than that of a WW2 fighter. WW2 fighters can get better turn radius, though. Also, I mean if some country magically got F-35s in WW2, it wouldn't be inconceivable that they also magically got missiles and stuff.

German air to air and air to ground radars won't be able to lock onto the F-35 at any significant range, and even if they lock, the their poor guidance and signal processing means the F-35 can easily jam them or use other countermeasures. Also, yeah, lots of planes are shot down by cannon fire. But how many 5th gen stealth jets are downed by cannon fire? 0. Not a single one. Plus the F-35 is mach 1.5 capable, a 300mph WW2 fighter won't see it coming (yeah, the F-35 will make gun kills at subsonic speeds, but that's still 700mph vs 300mph). Plus, the F-35 is actually MORE maneuverable in degrees turned per second, WW2 fighters just have better turn radius.

@@salaudinayobi6997 Didn't you follow the media? The US warned Turkey not to buy russian missile systems, otherwise the F-35 deal would be cancelled. Turkey signed a deal with Russia in September 2018, so the deal for the F-35 was put on hold in August 2018. US again warned, the deal will be cancelled if Turkey takes delivery of the S-400 system. In July 12, 2019 they took delivery of the missiles, and in July 17, 2019 the order of F-35 was finally cancelled.
