This will be such a game changer your right wow. The planes went from decent and inexpensive to overpriced and can barley fly or do anything. To be honest though the f-35 is like that radar plane , you know the one that says shoot me down all over in an air combat situation but it can't use a radar or at least be helpful. All it's good for is like a golden parachute, sure it looks cool but it's a complete lemon in what it's supposed to do.

“In fact the program is actually not on a path toward success but instead on a path toward failing to deliver” the aircraft’s full capabilities. A timely reminder of an issue that the next president and defense secretary will inherit. www.bloomberg.com/news/articles/2016-08-24/lockheed-s-f-35-still-falls-short-pentagon-s-chief-tester-says

Sounds like they need to delay testing until they can fix all those issues

Critics are not even worthy of replying to anymore. It's all the same debunked talking pts we heard for years.every development that needs work in testing us portrayed as failure (it's just development, sorry folks), while the volumes of expert testimony to it's capabilities are completely ignored. It's a lost cause trying to convince civilian naysayers. There isn't time enough in the world to teach every stupid hack journalist about physics of the electromagnetic spectrum, the history of air warfare, networking sensor shooter philosophy, enemy tactics and capabilities, etc etc. Bloomberg is not going to gin up anything positive to say. That would require understanding the subject matter and our journo school grads already think they know everything.

uhhhh, yes! that's exactly what I mean. DOTE is a political hack organization that basically always runs interference in ALL important complex projects. The fact that you try to cite Gilmore is 100% proof that you do not know what you're taking about and have never been involved in a mil tech project. DOTE exists for one reason and one reason alone, and that is to justify the existence of DOTE. thanks for the laugh though. cute.

oh my god! you actually think POGO is a citation or author! The people who said Abrams would be destroyed by Saddam's T-72s! Lmao!

Its actually referred to as "Low Observable" not stealth. Nothing is truly "stealth".

Stealth jets are way better than submarines and faster and more advanced as well with proper evasion systems
