One thing I think that should be mentioned is you need to be below 60% fuel to be able to hover with VTOL. Otherwise the hover button won't work. Other than that, thanks for the video :)

F-35A is the conventional plane, F-35B is the VTOl plane and the F-35 C is the carrier plane with the hook... you wanna use the F-25B

Just bought the plane of JustFlight . For some reason im experiencing some strange bugs with the PDC. I have the steam version of the flight simulator and run it on win 10 , all settings maxed out. When i try to set my autopilot while still on the runway most input squares for height , autopilot master etc are completely missing as a button or the square where you are suposed to input your numbers , lets say for altitude hold is completely black and you cant input anything. Also when you hit menu and then cruise to organize your PDC display sections automatically, some strange numeric window pops up in the menu quadrant of the PDC , like you are hitting something different. The site I bought the game from "Just Flight" uses an exe setup autoinstaller , and iv already uninstalled,reinstalled it 3 times with the problem still persisting so its not user error. Do you have any idea how I might fix this bug or if its even a thing with other people?

I've bought my through Just Flight ad well... I haven't fully dove into the autopilot since the last major update which just happened. I'll need to make a new video bc the recent update wad a big one and they changed a lot

I've just got it to a point where I can run NYC at 65ish fps on ultra with no stuttering, getting even slightly lower fos will get noticeable in my supersonic high G maneuvers.

@StevesSimStation Areas like NYC , MIAMI, WY DC require lots of computing power on ultra , but im currently pretending to be runing electronic recon missions on the Polish/Ukrainian border and over the Baltic sea , the fps in such remote places is significantly higher than 60-70 . The autopilot worsk most of the time you can leave the plane unatended for an hour and watch a series of game of thrones for example. Sometimes it doesnt want to accept a command , especially for a heading , just manually point the plane in the direction of your waypoint heading and level it , then engage the route hold or the whole autopilot again, or just keep presing route hold and reingaging the autopilot until it picks up the comand , once it does its smooth sailing .

If you're already flying and switching to VTOL the jet needs to be below a certain airspeed now the exact airspeed I don't know off the top of my head

Yes i agree, the switch on the left (same hook switch on the A variant) but when i click it the mode switch for a fraction of a second then back to normal mode, that is my issue also i tried while flying below speed 200 same problem

When I hover land I can't shut down the engines. 80%+ power you push the stovl and your gone pking brake or not. Cant disengage the throttle, to shut down when I hover land. Any idea's

Make sure to shut off the SVTOL bring the aircraft back to normal operations then go through the shut down... its been a minute since I've flown the F-35 but I know the SVTOL needs to be off

@@StevesSimStation As soon as u push the svtol button, turn it it a rocket ship gone. the throttles dont shut off and the thrusters start rising at 80%+ power. Sometimes as soon as the wheels hit the ground the thrusters start going back but the throttles are at 80%+. Your gone. Also the fuel shut off button goes missing so u can't shut the fuel off just before the wheels touch.
