Here's something a bit different! This dragster was built from an aircraft drop tank by one of our talented team members. Every piece was gathered over the course of several years then carefully handcrafted to create an absolutely astonishing piece of art. Beautiful!

It wasn't actually a drop tank, they where removable but they couldn't be dropped mid flight.

this is a Absolute thing of Beauty ! in a Small Waterfront town inSouthern Maryland i kept a few of my Boats inMarinas there and aResident has a old Belly Tank paintedYellow in his front yard that the old locals all say was some kind of a Antique homemade Submarine someone in the family built i always laughed to myself because i’m pretty sure that was just some UrbanLegend and somebody in the60s or 70s found that tank somewhere and for a Hoot painted it to be aYellow Submarinelike the Beetles song referred to and stuck it in his yard the people that lived there when i used to spend Weekends at my Boat looked like they kept up on some Flowers and Landscping around it and it’s kind of become a SemiPermanent part of their Yard it’s a very old Community and over the years it’s hadColorful Parts of History to it there was a Plane Crash years ago and at one time one of the big violence t Motorcycle Clubs set up their Headquaters there that actually got the Attention of Federal Agents to come in a watch over the Town, it’s also located very close to Andrews Air Force Base and has a lot of Residents that either repaired or Flown Military Airplanes at one point in their lives ( not always Specifically at Andrews but this little small Community of Fishing ,Boat Builders , and some Antique Airplane restorers and Collectors were always attracted to that area ne Gentleman from my Marina actually has a Grass Runway that many of those planes use it’ was cool because my boat was under their Approach and they would give us the Wing Wave flying over BTW my youngest child at the time was a Civil Air PatrolMember and the Old timers loved talking with him and sharing stories ! My son was a Marina Brat basically and would help those guys Docking , Carrying Groveries or Supplies and generally just helping them out in exchange for his favorite Cookies ,Snacks , and Soda Pops they bought for him LOL I helped them out as well and always had Cold Beer or Fresh Coffee. ready to share
