Damn, the hornet makes the BEST sound as it swoops by. Years ago, I worked for a company that was making custom chips for Eurofighter. We sourced them a power supply controller for the ejection seat system. As dorky as this sounds, it was cool being involved in that. Why is it that when LS does one of these vids, I actually feel like I'm in the cockpit with him? ☺

A couple of years ago I spoke with an "Ala 12" Hornet driver and asked him how did they do when they engaged the Typhoon in training and his words were, literally, "if in the first merge we can't get the nose around and lock him, they will go into the vertical and screw us". Makes sense with the superior thrust of the Typhoon in mind. Great video, Longshot. Keep it up.

I'm pretty certain flying 90KIAS isn't what the designers had in mind for a 1 circle dog fight. If you get below about 135KIAS the aircraft is going to behave like a wet sponge. Fight in a way that doesn't ever go below the minimum maneuvering speed (whatever it is). Going below that speed isn't a legitimate dogfight tactic, make him do that while you maintain control (yes I know it's a game and the vid is meant for entertainment LOL).

The flight improvements would probably make sure, that the a Super Hornet would not win at all. Those improvements make sure, that the speed of and in the Eurofighter Typhoon has not reduced at all or maybe just little bit, but flight capabilities, like the turning rations have been improved greatly = quite a lot if not even more. And those improvements have not been big to make those great improvements to the Typhoon. I would like to see that Eurofighter Typhoon = the improvement Typhoon against the Felon = the SU 57 and the Gripen C and E and the Rafale, the C version = the Airforce Version of the / a Rafale. Because in the reality = in the real life, the Rafale C, B and probably the NAVY, the M version are better in the Ground Attacks etc., as in the Dog Fights too. The Gripen C and probably if not even more the E version are Second Best in the Ground Attacks, yes, better, than the Typhoon, for now, but not as good as the any Rafale version. Also, the Super Hornet E would be nice to see against the Rafale M = the Marine = Navy version too. But in the reality, the Super Hornet E in the Dog Fights = in the WVR, will loose more times, if not every time, against the Rafale M, but in the BVR, I think, that with the better missiles, the Super Hornet has the Advantage over the Rafale M, but what about against the Rafale C and the B?? So, the Super Hornet either the E or the F is not so a match against any Rafale version, but it is mostly if not always about the Pilot, than about the Plane, that comes to a winner of the fight. But you need always a quite good plane at least with a better pilot who knows own plane, to fight a better plane and to take the Win, like a Finnish F/A Hornet C with a Finnish Pilot on It, against a Felon, the SU 57 where is the Russian Pilot, but of course with the help of other Finnish People on the Ground aso = and so on, a Finnish Pilot can win against it. But in the WVR fight, the Hornet is lot or way better, than the / a Super Hornet, but in the BVR it is the Opposite. But we should all know this, that a Super Hornet is not the/a improved plane = jet fighter over the Legacy Hornet, but almost or completely different plane, just as we could talk about the Gripen E and the F vs Gripen C and D = that the/a Gripen E (and the F) being at least mostly if not even more, a different plane = jet fighter, than the Gripen C (and the D). But to me, I think, that the Difference between a Legacy Hornet, the/a F/A 18 C and the D vs the/a Super Hornet, the/a F/A 18 E and F is maybe even bigger, than between the Gripen C/D vs Gripen E/F, or what you think?? But did Finland a right decision, to choose Its' next jet fighter the F 35 A and not the Gripen E / F!?? Of course there would have been other F 35 versions, like the C and the B, that the/a F 35 C, the NAVY version might have been a better suited for the Finland, when comparing It to the / a Hornet C and D, but the / a F 35 A has as good or even better range, than the F 35 C or better range to the B version when comparing, because even if the C has lot more fuel on board internally, but it has way more drag from its' bigger wings. Also the F 35 B version has lot less fuel on board, than the F 35 A version and even less, when talking about = when comparing to the F 35 C, because the/a B has like Extra Engine inside of it = driving chaff or something, which takes a lot of room from the extra fuel, so that's why It can't carry so much fuel, than the F 35 A and even less, than the F 35 C. And the G Factor is little bit lower in the F 35 B (something like 7.4) than in the C (being the 7.5 or the 7.6), but the A has the greatest = biggest G Factor, being the 9 G or more.. And the F 35 A being the lightest and having no extra engine parts on it and having the best wing and airframe configuration is better dog fighter and the stealthies too, not much, but still, it is more Stealthier, than any of those B or C. And of course all of these Jet Fighters, the F 35 A and B and the C are so called 5 th Gen (Jet) Fighters and the Gripen C and D and now the more Advanced Version of the Gripens, the E and F is still something like 4,5 / 4.5 Gen Jet Fighers, but of course the Manufacturer SAAB / Saab says, that the Gripen E with the F and Global Eye, even not being a Stealth Fighters are even more Advanced, than any F 35s = any F 35 version?? But is it really = for real the most Advanced Jet Fighter right now in the World, yes, even more Advanced, than the F 22 Raptor, because to me, the F 35 A is the most Advanced Jet Fighter in the World right now, yes, even more, than the F 22, and the Gripen E alone or with the F (not ready yet, the F = the 2 Seat Version of the newest Gripen E) with the Global Eye is the most modern and most advanced versions of the entire World, but really, is it?? But, in the reality, the single and the completely new Gripen E with the and a Global Eye was the Third Best, probably, or max Second Best after a Single F 35 A, but the Super Hornet, probably was the Second Best, and the Gripen the Third, after the F 35 A. Yes, that the / f F 35 A was clearly the best, getting the 4.47 points or something over 4 of the min. 4, out of the max 5, when the second best jet fighter, probably the Super Hornet, get the 3.87 points or something and the Super Hornet came to the Finland with the 1 E and F = 1 1 and 1 2 Seated Versions and with the 1 Growler, a 2 = Two Seated Version of the 2 Seated Version of the Super Hornet E = F. So, the Test didn't say, which one was the second and which one was the third best, but I think, and the other Finns too with me (some of them, not all of them), that the Super Hornet alone or with the Growler, in those many Finnish tests were the Second best, not getting the min. = minimum 4 points out of max 5 points, and the Gripen E with or without the newest Global Eye get something over 3 or under the 3 points. And today, the F 35 A, the improved version of It was even better, than what it was back then on 2021 or something, in those valuations for the Finland's next jet fighter, after the Hornet. But I'm so worried, that if!, if Finland would have to go to the War against the Russia, should Finland have pick up the Gripen E and the F with the Global Eye or at least the Super Hornet E and maybe the F, but with the Growler for sure!?? Because right now = today!, the the F 35 A is not yet ready, and the Gripen F is also not yet ready, but should have the Finland, my home Country, chosen the Gripen E or probbaly the even better option, the Super Hornet/-s with the Growler, which is ready and has been ready, for the Finland, because the/a Super Hornet with the Growler has way or lot better Radars and other improvements, than the much older Legacy Hornet which has not even the Growler version with It / Them, with the C and D, at all!?? The Typhoo and n the Rafale was denied from the last tests, because at least the Typhoon would probably had need a Global Eye or similar plane to fly with the 1 or 2 Typhoons!/. But about the Rafale I don't know, was/were the reason / reasons the same, than with the Typhoon / -s or same kind of or what?? But I do know, that the Rafale is more Advanced and has been and probably still it, than the Typhoon is, although the Typhoon has probably way or lot better Radar, for now, than the any Rafale version, but the Rafale is better Ground Attack and a better Dog Fighter, than the Typhoon and the Rafale is probably little bit or some more cheaper to buy, than the Typhoon, although the Typhoon because being lot more build, is maybe way more or lot less cheaper to operate, than the Rafale!/. But what about the Gripen E and maybe next year coming the F version, how much that would have cost to operate right now and later!?? I think, that operating a F 16 right now costs less to buy or at least way or lot less to operate, than the newest Gripen E and F, because there is so few Gripen Es when comparing to the/a F 16s and right now, a flying Gripen F has and is a 0 right now, but I don't know, how many the newest F 16 C and D, the Block 70 and 72 there is right now, but probably more or way / lot more, than the newest Gripen E and F!/. But I think, that overall better plane of the/a newest F 16 vs the/a newest Gripen E/F is the Gripen!/. But i think, the Radar of the/a newest F 16 is way or lot better, but I hope not, but I think so and what I have heard and (read)!/. But It is the EAW capabilities which have been and still are and should be way / lot better in the Gripen E and F, than in the F 16 Block 70 / 72 and in the Typhoon and probably / maybe in the Rafale too, and maybe they are better, than in any F 35 version too, but I don't know = I can't say for sure!??

Fr, the utter airspeed authority that thing has is ridiculous. Too fast? Just yank on the stick and the delta wings act as a massive airbrake. Too slow? Stick the reheat on and you're back up to speed in seconds, minimal nose dumping required. It really lets you control the dogfight, especially since you can almost point the nose at will without needing to worry too much about all the airspeed you'll lose since you can gain it back so quickly.

The Eurofighter does not really have a superior T/W ratio against the F-22. Not when you do a proper, apples to apples comparison. The Eurofighter and the F-22 have very similar T/W ratios when, for example, we compare them both with only gun ammo and 100% internal fuel. But, the F-22 carries much more fuel internally than the Eurofighter and also has a greater combat radius and/or can stay in the air for longer. If we fill up an F-22 with only the amount of fuel that is necessary to equal to the combat radius, or time on station at X distance that the Eurofighter has with a full internal fuel load, then the Raptor has a superior T/W ratio.
