Great vid as always, love the cinematic shots especially. Just wonderin', why does the Eagle seem to be so "easy" to shoot down in DCS when clearly it hasn't been in real life? I get it if they go up against Gen5's, but against Gen4's? And they rarely seem to pickup targets quicker than being picked up, when they have probably one of the most powerful radars in a Gen4 out there? Anyway just questions... still love DCS and these great vids.

Most of the Eagle's kills are against gen 3s. With a handful of old 4th gen MiG-29s; Soviet exports equipped with downgraded radars and missiles.

The mission succeeded but the entire strike package was wiped out. All in the name of one runway. Good job playing as the red air. You should do this again but have the opposing blue force have some F-22s in the mix.

While playing DCS, can anyone answer, do Russian Jets feel much more powerful than American jets? The Migs and Suhkoi jets just look monstrous when it comes to their jets. I have seen pictures of them from the back and the engines seem huge

The mig 29 is literally a TINY TINY aircraft and it feels super fast, but has NO space for fuel, because it's micro. There are hilariour pics of 2 su-27s and a mig in between which is about the size of half a wing. The su do not have a fancy thrust to weight ratio, they are HUGE birds with SO many missiles and essentially american external fuel tanks internal at all times. With half fuel and half missiles there is HUGE difference in wind resistance on the Su series craft. Different design philosophy, american jets, and even cars, are almost always over engined vs chassis! they are always fast acceleration and the drop tanks aid that even more!

I enjoy these videos but find many issues with tactics. for example, towards the end of video the Russian bombers are dropping gravity bombs on runway, and after they been in point blank range to do this, then the Patriots decide to fire more missiles? Sorry, but that would not happen. If anything, they would have shot their whole load and possibly not had any to shoot.
