Talking about the "thingness" of these images reminded me of this quote from Andy Boroveshengra: "The cards are never something else before they are themselves."

I saw the title of your video, and I was like “Hell yeah!” This class video is amazing, thank you so much for this! I dabbled with Lenormand last year and I felt so constricted to the keyword meanings of the cards. This really opens things up for me. You’re a great teacher!

With the tower one thing that always comes to my mind is seeing the bigger picture (as if at the top of the tower you get the full view, maybe even get a different perspective from this position). Also isolation or cutting oneself off from the outside world as if inside the tower you would be doing this)

O I love this! Thank you so much! I also studied under Camelia Elias, every class she gave on Marseille, Lenormand, Playing Cards, etc. I love hearing all the perspectives and adding it to my knowledge. Awesome!

This was fun, I couldn’t help but feel that Raounzel sounded like she’d be happiest in a traditional family where she feels loved, one of her choice (though it was the only choice) even if we want her to find herself outside of this setting.

It's 12.10 am here and I am smothering with a cold. So I am saving this to watch back tomorrow. I am delighted youbare doing this as Lenormond is one area I have difficulty with and would love to master it. 😀 Thank you

Fun! I'd love to be a part of this. In your 5-card spread, I read it like a storyboard, always keeping in mind the context of the story. The card that is not shown but is mentioned in her story is the Tower. My connection with the Tower is that it is a place high up where one develops a perspective or outlook that may be different from other positions elsewhere/on the ground etc. But it is also a prison where one is held captive.. So my story is that Rapunzel in having escaped from the imprisonment in the Tower, is at a Crossroads and needs to make a choice of which Path to take. She runs into the prince who tempts her with an offer, a proposal, a gift of Flowers/Bouquet to pursue their romance and go with him. But she views this as another form of captivity and so she hops on the nearest horse/Rider and runs away from that situation in favor of finding a House, somewhere she can call a home, somewhere she can be truly comfortable in herself. In your story of Rapunzel, she has given birth to a child via the prince. So her seeking a home is an option where she wants to focus on her relationship in/with raising the child. If the version of the story is without a birth (I don't recall that in the Rapunzel's I've read) then she is in pursuit of a life of freedom that includes playfulness and joy and fresh starts. This works for me and supports your question, although the answer to the question of how she accomplishes her goal is in the focus on 'making a choice'....the choice of a romance, or finding herself in a place of self-realized comfort.

That's a great series! I come back to this sessions from time to time :D I have a question about slavic cartomancy and spades, you mentioned about this at some point, that in slavic culture spades are view as shields. Could you pointed me to the source of this, please? it's really interesting perspective :-)

Love lenormand but struggled when trying to read it as traditional then suddenly someone who does readings on KZbin opened my eyes as he strips it to basics puts it into modern terms and just reads each card individually I am sure that traditional readers may Pooh Pooh this but it works now I click with it just finished your sibilant videos 👍
