Also, don't feel the need to placate the anti Sub/CV mob either. Everyone knows their unbalanced but most of us have had fun playing subs and CVs (Despite crying about them in game lol). Also Also, its your channel. Do what you want. If people cant handle controversial ships in a funny boat game that's their problem. Keep up the good content!

We've all reached the end of the vid Malta. Also, would've been nice for you to take 30 seconds to offer some thoughts regarding which one we should purchase - this or Shinano. They're the only 2 steel CVs that you featured very close to eachother so was expecting a small comment on "I'd rather get this than that because". Good video, thanks for the upload.

@@MalteseKnight Well wasn't talking from a competitive mindset as I'm sure you'd tell us to go ask Rei. But for example you could say for relaxation purposes you'd take FDR over Shinano I'm guessing? What about credit/damage farming, which one is easier from someone who isn't playing CVs regularly (which I personally am also one of)? FDR does seem a bit boring and less unique on the other hand as far as I can see?

Me personally, I'd pick Shinano. FDR has extremely tanky planes and that is nice, along with dropping a football field's worth of torpedoes per drop, so it could be relaxing. But, I believe Shinano is just better due to it being a support carrier, which means it gets a Tactical Squadron and a deployable smoke screen. It also gets the new outright busted AP skip bombers. Not to mention, it still gets Shōkaku torpedoes, which aren't bad at all. Though, due to this, it doesn't get nearly as tanky planes as FDR, but with how aggressive Shinano can be I would prefer Shinano in most cases.

@@Archenuh The sheer tankiness of FDR I could see would be nice for relaxing. Due to the high HP pool of the planes, you don't need to think much when selecting targets which is much preferred if you want to relax. FDR is also more forgiving because it takes longer to lose your planes. But, Shinano is more aggressive, and is objectively more interesting. Though, with Shinano you get Tier 8 Shōkaku planes on your Torpedo Bomber squadron, so they tend to be brittle. But, Shinano gets a smoke screen, a Tactical Squadron, and some really powerful AP skip bombers. Both earn the same amount of credits IIRC, and both can farm damage very well. Choose which fits your playstyle more. I would still pick Shinano, but that is just because of my playstyle.

Nice, CV video. And yes, the insults are crazy, because people get frustrated with CVs because they never play them and hence don't understand their weaknesses and strenghts. I had dropped a (forced) broadside Petropavlosk with my Essex and he complained about taking 20k dmg when i manage to exploit his play and drop his broadside. Maybe if i was playing a BB and killed him there he wouldn't have complained.....

Wow, I've reached this point in the video, that's crazy! You said it yourself, but I think you worry way too much about what people will think of your content Malta. When you're doing a stream I guess you've got to play a bit more for your audience and what they want to see, but on youtube I often look up your videos when I get a new ship, or if I just want to know the strengths and weaknesses of one. Having a good player show the pros and cons and general playstyle of different classes and ships is really useful.

I have found over the years that Last Gasp has not been particularly useful as a lot of people say it is. If I have a point left over I always go with the 1 point fighter skill to increase the spotting area

It's just so sad that you have to spend so much time defending the fact that you want to play a ship that's in the game. I find CVs just as annoying as the next guy, but the hate towards people playing the class is unwarranted and inappropriate. Play whatever you want and enjoy it. I like your game skill, but this was typical dmg game, not a team game. How many videos of you playing on CV have I seen, you never attacked dd's. Remember, you kill the destroyers, the enemy loses eyes, then you can farm dmg ;)
