what i love about this game is it has great atmosphere really you can really feel that this is a horror game and it kinda gives me the feeling of a mother and son relationship :)

Point Man is Almas first son, as such he sometimes sees into her mind which is why he keeps on traveling back to that view of the hospital room doors, back when the baby was taken from Alma. In both FEAR games she both tries to save and kill the main charecter, albeit in both times she stops trying to kill them partway, stopping at Point Man due to him being her son, and at the other guy because she seems to fall for him (-ish, if liking can include raping him lol)

@guitarproexpert123 in the first one you only see the "Little" Alma because she only shows you that form of her through the telepatic link between you and her. In fact she is the "Big" Alma both in FEAR1 and FEAR2.

F.E.A.R., Condemned 2: Bloodshot, and Dead Space were my favorite horror games back in the day. I'm still hoping they make a Condemned 3 or a reboot.

Check out the last scene in this vid, she kills you in fear too. Besides, if I understand it right, in the 1st fear you played as her son I think, that's why she wasn't trying to kill you from the beginning (just at the end when she discovered, that you want to destroy her). I might be wrong though.

@ReignTsrakti something in front of me in the corner of the room move, but I couldn't see well because it was so dark. Being the wimpy scared guy I was, I struggled to find the door behind me while facing the direction of the thing I "saw" move holding in a scream. Took me about 5 minutes to find the handle. By the time I got out of the room, I was dripping with sweat (Looked like I took a shower in my cloths) and EVERYONE in the class was staring at me. My excuse. I fell in a bucket of water.

Not too much scares me, but that part where you have to jump over a rail and then the elevator comes down really fast scared me because I am most easily scared by loud, sudden, sounds. Like not really loud music, but if it just starts out of nowhere, then I'll probably get scared.

oh man i played fear2 before fear and i must say fear is a hell of a lot scarier worth playing but i had actually thrown my controler to the ground shut the game off and let my basement afew times because of fear one its awesome but scary which makes it even better!!!

When I first played FEAR I was like what the heck is goin on in this place, and who in the world is that creepy girl. I started to hate her because she kept on scaring me lol. But then as i played the game more i start to realize how sad and painful her life was, and all of the stories u figure out. After the game i didn't hate her anymore, i felt soo sad for her...poor girl, I hope that there isn't anything like what happened in the game in the World right now. Anyway Great Vid man!!!

Just to let ya kno guys that alma is not a kid, not an adult, just a troubled paranormal spirit who seeks revenge and her kids (you and Paxton). she appears as a kid in the earlier parts of the game because thats how she remembers herself. After the part where Harlan releases adult alma's corpse from the vault then do u see alma in her adult form more frequently. She saves you sumtimes cuz ur her son She tries to kill you sometimes because she wants to be with you where she is.

This game and Doom 3 are the only games I could never finish. Hell, I don't think I lasted more than 2 levels on F.E.A.R. I had to leave it to my brother to play the damn game while I watched. I laugh when Dead Space received praise for scariest game, pfft! I finished Dead Space scared the entire time but I still finished it.

She isn't trying to kill you, she's trying to protect you. In F.E.A.R. 2 you're playing as Michael Becket, not Point Man, but I can't say why she wants to kill you due to pissing off F.E.A.R. 2 fans who haven't played the game and beaten it yet.

I was in a dark confined room working on developing my photos (I take photography in school :D) and whenever I'm somewhere dark alone, I start to get paranoid and hallucinate. I started hearing a girl singing, which was scarying the hell out of me, but I kept telling myself it was nothing. then I dropped my film and I couldn't find it when I looked for it, then in the corner of the room I saw
