@@tional5266 In my humble opinion, this is one of the most talented group of musicians I've ever seen in my 59 years - bar none. Their talent is beyond words, and the sound production of the videos are on a professional level. So to those points, if I ever watch one F&F vid, I'll be wrapped up watching more vids for the next few hours, including vids I've watched multiple times.

Sammie usually is flying under the radar, but when they give her a showcase song like this one, she steps up, and unveils the true scope of her vocal talent. In fact, ALL of the foxes seem to be having a good time singing this song. Well done, great song choice and as many have said, F & F never disappoints. Outstanding effort!

Check out the 14-year-old Sammie debuting with the Mustangs, singing Midnight Train to Georgia, Game of Love, and others--practically no expression on her face. That phase didn't last long, and she soon found her groove and shows a lot more emotion when singing. Here it's pure joy, and it's infectious.

Just visited the original of this song, and as usual, F&F knock it out of the park - this is amazing - the harmonies work well, and the fossils, as usual, offer an amazingly good back line - this is just possibly one of the best F&F covers yet - Oh, and for those questioning the gospel aspect, the foxes were church singers in their earlier days, and this is not an unexpected departure, but just another development of their wonderful talent.

She loves Maren Morris and has been waiting to sing this one since 2017 - it almost made the setlist on their last live show (the one with ‘Amie’ and ‘Crazy’) but was dropped at the last minute, The first studio version was recorded last year and sat in the can, and this arrangement was recorded in summer of this year.

Watching her reaction in this and other videos it's obvious she is definitely, "Daddy's little girl", he's got her back and she knows it. With all of the dysfunctional families representing so much of the music/entertainment world, it's really refreshing to see such a sweet father/daughter relationship. This is a parent/child relationship every father should aspire to. I think this is part of the allure of this group in addition to the superb musicianship. To that end, keep on keeping on F&F.

Every time I listen to a F&F song, I think "This is my favorite ! When I heard Neon Moon, "This is my favorite". Then I heard Harvest Moon, "This is my favorite". I guess they are all my favorite. Great job Sammie and Co. Music has always been " my church " ever since I sang a solo in Kum-bah-yah as a first grader at P.S 24's end of year concert in 1967. This week has been a week of miracles for me. After 4 years and six weeks of not going to a guitar lesson bc of MS and other trials and tribulations in my life i returned to new york city guitar school on Sunday to meet my new teacher! I had a wonderful lesson and began to create a solo for Peter Frampton's-Baby I love Your Way. What a joy it was to sit in a practice room with my guitar and make music; something I thought might never happen again. Thank you F&F for reminding me every once in a while how much guitar music and singing means to me. And thank you a billion times over for the music that all of you create that has often uplifted my soul even in my most dark times and poured soooooooo much joy into my life . I admire the fact that while the roots of many (most? all??) of Foxes and Fossils are "in church," you haven't pushed that through your music and KZbin forum that you now enjoy. Nevertheless, it has always been obvious that the loving spirit between you all is more than just the sum of your personalities. And it was obvious as I watched and listened tonight that each of you were singing and playing from a heart that loves not only the Church but He who is Lord of the Church. This last 18 months have been tough for many people emotionally and spiritually. Thank you for your bright music and the witness of your faith, be it spoken or unspoken.

I just listened to "My Church" and "Strawberry Wine" back to back. It seems that Sammi's voice has seriously expanded. The high note she hits on the "must" in Church is her highest possible natural note, but it is 2 whole notes higher than Wine. On wine, it is clear that the high was then at the end of her range. Dad was also surprised a little. The improvement in everyone's talent and musical capability is so obvious in their covers. Please keep it up guys and girls!

I always assume that Sammie's next performance will reveal that the top of her range is actually a third higher than we thought, no matter what we thought. 😎 I don't think Tim and Maggie were surprised that night at Bella's. The audience was sure surprised. And Sammie was surprised by their reaction. Her 15-yr-old's rendition of Strawberry Wine revealed a voice that could easily have become a country star. She has demonstrated since then that she can handle work in almost any genre, but when she gets to let it all out on a country-flavored tune, it's especially special.
