Great video. I had to put my disconnector in first, then the sear and then its spring. Had trouble with the trigger return spring and the trigger installation but it's easy to sort out. I polished all the internals a la CZ 75, replaced the main spring with a shortened CZ 75 one and stoned the sear true and a bit more obtuse and hammer hooks to 90 degrees. Not a lot of work for a DIY with the KZbin video 2017. DA is not 11lbs +, but now 7 lbs and SA is 2.6lbs (from 5.0). Light stoning with Arkansas hard on rail surfaces and it racks ultra smoothly. Get the P9R if you find one. All extra parts on Numrich site. Cheap.

This video helped me tremendously. Thank you! I've one of these pistols that frequently would not cock all the way before the hammer fell when firing double-action. I took it apart and found where the squarish drawbar crossed over a round hole and lots of burrs there causing it to jump. I got rind of the burrs and it is WAY smoother. It helped a lot, and now the pistol only rarely has this problem. But it still does. I don't see how to get rid of the still slight jump of that cornered drawbar crossing the round hole. Does that make enough sense to understand the issue? Thanks!

You left out the reassembly of the slide. For that matter, it would be nice to have seen where the little detent bearing rolled out from during disassembly as well.

The ball bearing from the slide is part of the safety assembly, with its spring these parts help the safety to "click" in place.

My feg p9r gets stuck on halfcock when i dry fire it and it almost feels like its broken, but if i pull the trigger again it goes back to normal. Do you know what's causing this problem. Thanks..

I just bought one. Worked fine at the sellers house. Got it home and the trigger is locked up, slide and hammer won't cock. Any help would be appreciated. The guy offered to give me my money back but I really wanted to add it to my FEG collection. Thanks

Look at the little hole at the:53 where he removes the detent spring. The ball goes in the hole (after the spring is inserted first).

I have one of these and the slide will not stay locked back when using the disassembly notch (the one closest to the front of the barrel). What could be causing that?

For the bead, you can probably find a similar sized ball bearing. As for the spring.. good luck finding one. You can see if any household item like a small pen has a compatible one or just have one custom made.

A P9R? Abszolút nem. Van sok negatívuma, de az egyik pozitívum a kevés közül pont az, hogy teljesen átlagos a hátrarúgása. A modern műanyagtokos pisztolyok jóval nehezebben uralhatóak, nagyobbat rúgnak. Ha ez a fegyver valakinek nagyot rúg a kezében, az vagy túl lazán fogja, vagy nem túl erős a karja, vagy először lő, és úgy érzi. Ha szintén egy magyar, FÉG márkájú fegyverrel hasonlítjuk össze, amire lehet az mondani, hogy nagyot rúg, az a PA63, na az nagyot rúg, kényelmetlenebb vele lőni.
