Hi everyone. We hope you enjoyed our first look at the NLR FG-T Elite. For a full comprehensive view we highly recommend the review from Boosted Media - over an hour long full break down of the product.

Saw the Boosted Media video before this one, and now I'm further convinced that this is quite the piece of kit for the money - the only thing I can honestly say that would be better than this is a full motion-ready rig costing at least five digits in whatever currency you use. The flexibility that the F-GT Elite has is the biggest draw for me; I plan on doing a lot of F1, and since I'm gonna get the iRacing edition with the complimentary 1-year membership, I'll probably run a lot of GT and stock cars as well.

Great overview of the rig. It definitely looks top quality. Before I buy, I was wondering, is there any way to mount both a handbrake and a shifter on the same side of the rig. The bar that houses the shifter plate didn't look as long as the P1-X. Also, is it worth the extra over the GTELITE?

@@racedepartment Thank you Steve. I just preordered and opted to keep the ES1 Seat for a number of reasons. 1. I'm 5'6 slim build the head space won't be so problematic for myself. 2. I can't find any adjustable side mounted bucket seats without having to DIY job. I rather not DIY anything to keep the rig looking as clean as possible. Only issue is the padding you mentioned doesn't seem endurance friendly but I suppose I will see how I go. How is the lumbar support if I may ask?
@EzzraOG2 жыл бұрын
@@_Jacks_ on the seat padding on endurance runs, how did it turn out long term mate?
@_Jacks_2 жыл бұрын
@@EzzraOG overall not as comfortable as a traditional bucket seat. Few things wrong with the seat. 1. Headrest, too hard and back of head starts to get a little sore (more so in formula position) after a long session. 2. Padding they are stuck on with adhesive and is not completely flush to the seat, parts where you put pressure to the padding you will hear the sticking sound of the adhesive. 3. Lumbar support is non-existent. Inability to recline the seat. Overall, I think it is very dependant on your build, since I am fairly slim and below average height it is ok for me and I can live with it. It does look really good though!

I have a Trackracer TR80 & love it. But the packaging & instructions were a bit average. Some of the stuff Next Level have done other sim rig companies could take a leap out of there book. Thanks for sharing 👍🏻👍🏻🙃🙃
@karl3433 жыл бұрын
They've some poorly designed products too though, take the awful Next Level Challenger cockpit. That was my first cockpit, it was a terrible product and cost €400 without delivery. It only lasted me a few weeks, the flex was unbearable. I switched to a Sim-lab GT1 Evo, couldn't be happier, it even cost me less than the Challenger when taking delivery into account.
@_Jacks_3 жыл бұрын
I am pretty over Trak Racer products, my TR8 had unbelievable flex on the pedal plate and started squeeking noises. Ive been in the market and checked out some reviews on the TR160 and that too seemed to have flew on wheel mount and pedal plate. This one looks alot more solid.

@voongnz3 жыл бұрын
Yep, aluminum profile is more or less the same everywhere. Just buy it, cut it, and bolt it together yourself. Dead easy to design and build, it's just a big meccano set. I've saved $$$ doing my own. Only thing is it's not in a black anodised finish but you can find local businesses that do that kind of extrusion.
@racedepartment3 жыл бұрын
@@voongnz Yeah that's the thing. If you are the type of person that knows where to source it an cut it then that is definitely a brilliant option. Actually wouldn't mind doing a video on that idea. Let me know if you would be interested to help with that. Thanks - Steve

@steveworrell3 жыл бұрын
We’re basically exactly the same measurements. If you want something like this style of seat I’m not entirely sure as this is the only one I’ve tried. If you want something a bit more like a gamer chair the seat that came with the NLR GT track was really good but I’m not sure if they sell that separately. The chair I had on my previous rig was a gt omega chair and it was really good. Fit me perfectly and was super comfortable.
@NextLevelRacing3 жыл бұрын
Hi Mark, Great question. Here are some measurements to best support your question. The F-GT Elite Cockpit (Frame Only) at the max position. The length is 158 cm, the width is 82.5 cm (with shifter and handbrake mount attached), height is 88.5 cm. Please keep in mind the length does change as you change the angle of the Seat (Formula position making it longer in length). We have some tall guys in the office and they were able to fit in the cockpit comfortably. For the ES1 Seat, it will suit users up to a waist size of 42 inches. If you do require further support, please feel free to reach out to us at support@nextlevelracing.com. We can measure other components as you require :)

I don’t get this argument.. if your budget is that of a 8020 rig your going to be paying quite similar prices no matter who you go through, unless you do a sketch diy sim chassis and I’ve priced them up and hardly see the point in saving a few dollars doing guess work when there’s companies doing the hard work for you in figuring out best layout for adjustment etc. not knocking those who don’t mind just making a basic setup work but clearly this product isn’t tailored towards those on a tight budget.. they have products for those budgets anyway.
