Führerstandsfahrt Killwangen-Zürich Altstetten (Limmattal Bahn)

Einsteigen und mitfahren: Mit dem Be 6/8 (Tramlink "Rubin") der Limmattal Bahn geht es vom Bahnhof Killwangen-Spreitenbach über das Shoppi Tivoli, Dietikon, Urdorf und Schlieren bis zum Bahnhof Zürich Altstetten.

I was interested to see left-hand access at some stops. These trams are the only ones I've seen so far that have access on both sides.

because the line is technically a light railway not a tramway, although the Tramlink looks like a Tram its more of a Train in Tram clothing, it uses train protection, has doors on both sides and can reach 80km/h compared to a normal trams 60km/h. it also uses combination wheels that allow it to run on Tram as well as train tracks

@@brucewilliams8714 not quite, Waldenburgerbahn and Forchbahn have simmilar systems, what is unique though is the ability to automatically change from 600V DC to 1200V DC without manually changing it or having to lower the pantograph
