Oh well you're in luck, if you do fancy a career change and living in one of the most expensive cities in the world, they're actually desperate to hire anyone, regardless of age especially the 50+ and it has great perks and a pretty good salary too, so if you fancy it, you seriously can! :) Otherwise you can just keep watching the videos I post, plenty more to come!!

Thank you Hugo for another excellent video! in particular, thank you for the 'sub-titles' giving very interesting information regarding the various locations the tram passes. 'The Circle' is a wonderful complex which can of course be easily reached by surface public transport. I noticed that there is even an 'OUTPATIENTS' hospital within the complex. What a brilliant idea! People can easily travel to the hospital by IC-train, S-Bahn, Bus or tram! (Do they ever arrive by plane?)
@hugobazin80529 ай бұрын
I'm very glad you enjoyed the subtitles too! My aim is to improve the quality of the info in these videos and help people get a better sense of where the tram is passing through, even though those subtitles alone take a lot of time ;) Yes the circle is pretty cool, with even a lovely park in the centre of it! Oh well I mean plane might be a bit extreme, but yes public transport is the way to get most places around this wonderful city!!

@@hugobazin8052 Hugo ! Thank you 🌹

Thank you. This is a very heavily-engineered tramway, and very costly to build, I'd say. I couldn't see, but are there lifts for passengers boarding on the elevated sections? Greetings from Australia 🇦🇺

@alexj96038 ай бұрын
@hugobazin80528 ай бұрын
@aoilpe8 ай бұрын

Is it normal in Switzerland to have these "barrier poles" that close when a carway crosses a tramway? In this video they are almost everywhere. In The Netherlands we have them only for metro trains, for trams we do sometimes have warning lights and bells. Also the trams use their bells much more often.
@hugobazin80528 ай бұрын
Yes it is! For trams and railways, barriers even on the tiniest and most rural of level crossings are required by law to maintain safety... consider it a symptom of the Swiss wanting to everythiny properly and thouroughly with anything to do with infrastructure😂... yes I've seen in the Netherlands that cars and trams are much less seperated by physical barriers and yes the bell is used a lot less here, however it varies from city... in Basel the bell is used nearly as frequently as in the Netherlands

@hugobazin80528 ай бұрын
