Was für eine sehr schöne Strecke! wir kamen auch an berühmten Orten vorbei! Ich glaube, diese Route war in einer Fernsehsendung "Rail Away", die im niederländischen Fernsehen ausgestrahlt wurde. Sehr schön, dass wir die Strecke genießen konnten! Danke dafür!

Your railway system seems to be lightyears ahead of our antique system here in Canada. Diesel guzzling locomotives here and a passenger service that is pretty much non existent anywhere ! Love your trains !

I always follow fuhrerstandsmitfahrt (Cabrides) with the appropriate Schweers + Wall Eisenbahnatlas in front of me and (if I have one) the timetable for the line we are travelling on! This greatly enhances my enjoyment!

Ein ganz tolles Video, fahre die Strecke oft -mit dem Auto- nun sah ich sie von der Bahntrasse aus. Ganz toll. hohe Qualität, und vor allem alle Bahnhofsortsnamen exakt beim Bahnsteiganfang eingeblendet. So wünscht man sich ein Bahnvideo. 👏👍

Danke für das Lob, es freut mich immer wieder solche Kommentare zu bekommen :) Man verbringt ja doch einiges an Zeit mit Bearbeitung, und gerade das Rendern und Hochladen dauert für 4k doch erheblich länger (ca. 20h bzw. noch etwas länger für den Upload von ~23GB)

Very enjoyable ride. The train passes through hills and villages. However, it seems like the cars are going even faster than the train, no matter how fast it is going. How's that?

Well, the track is for the most part still the way it was built back in the 19th century. That gives for a beautiful ride, but as you can imagine, speeds of more then 80 kph were never in mind when laying out the tracks back then. However, upgrading cars and roads more and more, lead to the relation we have today, where the cars can travel 80 to 100 kph or even faster most of the time, whereas the railway line - leaving it pretty much as it used to be (except for electrificaion and a small upgraded strech for ~120kph starting at 1:07:00) - gradually became slower than the cars. We can only hope that the priorities get sorted out and the railway line will get an upgrade with 2 tracks and higher speeds too, though that will most likely lead to a not so scenic ride any more ;)

Hallo @Fueherstand. Ein tolles Video, so wie man es von dir kennt. :) Kannst du dir vorstellen mal eine Führerstandsmitfahrt von Wien HBF nach Stainach Irdning in 2 oder 3 Teilen hochzuladen? Diese verkehren leider nur am Wochenende, aber zu eigentlich guten Zeiten. (10:15 - 14:15) Falls dies nicht geht, würde eine Führerstandsmitfahrt von Linz HBF nach Steinach Irdning gehen? Wenn man dies neu aufnimmt sieht man auch den neuen und wirklich tollen Bahnhof in Gmunden. :) Würde mich freuen, schönen Tag noch! LG

Hallo und Danke einmal :) Ich will mich vorerst auf jene Strecken konzentrieren, die noch nicht aufgenommen wurden. Zur West- und Salzkammergutbahn gibts ja schon Videos, wenn auch in auf einem anderen Zug bzw. in die andere Richtung. Da ist diese Strecke eine Ausnahme, da die alte Aufnahme nicht mehr wirklich meinen Qualitätsansprüchen genügt hatte. Grüße zurück!

Thanks very much. The word is "Zugbeeinflussung", I'd translate it to "Train affectation". It means you've acknowledged a signal will slow down below a superwised speed, otherwise you'd trigger an emergency brake.
