Keep on the good work comparing and using different type of films. Hope you can try slide (positive, movie film) the result you will be so surprise. P picture is good, but every photo need to do it will not be too good. If you can do it good in the beginning you do not need to do extra work? For digital, if you done it right, jpg will be fine. British B/W film is good, I had been using ilford for few decades, always love them, fine grain, smooth and shade of greys, digital could not compare with them.
