So glad they are making an effort in improving their standard. We remember when it was Water Sky and the dim sum were much better. We had dim sum there twice since new management and might go there again to see how much have been improved since October. As the only one major dim sum restaurant in Bristol, we think more new and young Chefs should be encouraged to join in the market. Like in London, many new tasty dishes and styles are created as competition is high.
Nice snippets of the early migration of ethnic Chinese to the UK in the ‘80s - ‘90s from SE Asia. Their posture was certainly more humble from this recount. But you can guarantee their children have already risen above their parents or grandparents.
Omg! This restaurant's management is better than some of HK's restaurants. They really know how to balance the chef, company, and customers' requests and he really understands how to respect the chef from HK. He also knows HK people are hard-working and reasonable minds and do to cooperate with reasonable arrangements. The most difficult management is manpower. In my mind, HK chef is the best Chinese chef in the world. They can accept different skills even from western or Asia. They often improve themself and wish to satisfy their customers and wish all of them to enjoy their service. It's the spirit of HK chef and also HK people's spirit. proud of them and wish HK dishes will be famous in the world and let people find our HK spirit is special and great be honer.Thank you for your introduction and wish God bless all HK people. Wish all HKer make their dream and new life in the UK and be happy always wherever and whenever
Very good Chinese restaurant services in England as for Marketing Manager's willing and Operating Manager's approach to accept Customer's comments for improvement, feedbacks. I will invite Canaan' family to taste those Chinese Dim Sum and dishes when my family go to UK next year. Very good place for our Chinese gathering. I will clap my hands to enjoy Operating Manager's valuable true heart suggestions. Thanks all of you. God Blessings to all of U to enjoy your business and life in UK.
Having a difficult time understanding why you respond to haters.

It's difficult, we understand why they would say such things. In times like these when it's difficult. We will rely on what we've been taught - listen to everyone and allow others to express their opinion. We don't know if it's right thing to do, we just want to use kindness and love to resolve conflict, not fuel it.

@@SuperChansy I agree. No need to give them more attention they already have. Just wondering how many of those haters are living in that city or even UK. Too bad they found a place to spread their hatred. It is very funny that the new comers are discriminating those have been living here long time. Those cooks, regardless where they originally came from, are just average people making a living by working in a restaurant. Wrong target.
Thanks for your comment, we are trying to understand the the situation. We didn't know the meaning of Nancy until now (still trying to learn it now). You might have noticed we haven't deleted any comments at all, positive or negative. We don't fully understand everything, until then, we need to humbly learn and decide if we need to do anything. We left all comments here including this video because we want to display the truth. We want to give people the freedom to make their statement. We can delete this video, it would be simple to do, but we don't know if that's the right thing to do. If these people are wrong/ bad. Why should we hide it, the truth needs to be known. Your voices needs to be heard. Your comment as with others are always welcome. It hurts our feelings, we might be wrong. But freedom of speech and your opinion should be respected.

😔 we had no idea. Wanted to show people what there is but caused so much hatred. Not our intention😓 By the way, the wall mural was there from previously, the owner is Malaysian Chinese we believe.
I believe Canaan just wanted to share where you can find Chinese food in Bristol. No intention to support "Nancy" or no "Nancy". Instead, she just wanted to help all Newcomers from Hong Kong adjust to UK life quicker. And I believe she didn't know what "Nancy" is about. Keep up the good work. Don't get discourage.
We didn't take any sponsor money for this video, seems like we caused a lot of trouble for no reason😅😔

Canaan and Wai great video about fine dining in Bristol. Sorry to read some negative comments regarding whether the restaurant and its workers are from Mainland China. Just ignore them and keep up the good work. I think nationality is irrelevant as long as the food and service are top notch. Seems there are a lot of small minded, ignorant and childish BNO new arrivals wanting to divide everyone by their political views. 1st generation HK and Chinese immigrants who arrived in the 1960’s and their British born Chinese children are not political people, they never go out demonstrating but keep themselves to themselves. I am not surprised HK turned out the way it has and it seems they have now come to ruin the peace and livelihood of the Chinese community. They are also speculating on the property market and very soon locals will start despising them just like the Poles and Romanian workers who became unpopular and Brexit happened. At the moment, local Brits respect the Chinese because they are quiet, studious and hardworking, no trouble whatsoever but the tide can change and if not careful they will be seen as nothing but trouble makers and who knows whether they will gain British Citizenship as they are only on a 5 yrs visitor visa and nothing is guaranteed.

They should be careful of their own kind who are trying to help Berkeley homes sell expensive flats to newcomers. There’s a case of a young BNO couple who have settled in Birmingham but have never been to London. The guy is helping to promote a 1 bed flat for £567K in North London Haringey to be build on top of Brownfield land that used to be a gas plant. Seems BNO HKongers are now starting to con each other. It’s only a matter of time
@jl24053 жыл бұрын
kly cam So glad you can already see all the problems that are about to explode. If these small minded BNO lot are not careful, the way HK turned against them will end in the same way with the UK government. It will eventually see that these BNO HKongers are arrogant, violent, bitter, angry irrational and bordering along the line of delusional paranoid behavior. Are we going to go into every establishment and ask its staff “ did you vote Conservative, Labour, UKIP, Liberal Democrats, or Greens party ? “ and if it doesn’t agree, are we supposed to boycott the place and ruins its name ?

Canaan K Don’t worry and no need to apologize. That lot are definitely uneducated. How can they say they want to live in a democratic society yet anything that doesn’t agree with them they put up a fight. I guess they don’t approve of LGBT people either.
