There weren’t major conflicts popping off, he was willing to negotiate and push for peace, groceries were affordable, taxes were cut including for the middle class, gas was cheaper and we were energy independent, a border wall was mainly built and illegal immigration was in check, he passed a prison reform that let out non violent offenders who were given disproportionate sentences, interest rates were about 2 times lower which made renting and buying affordable, there was record small business optimism through cutting red tape, the right to try bill was passed which gave terminally ill patients the chance to try experimental potentially life saving treatments, insulin was capped at 35$ (this was overturned by Harris/biden, then reauthorized as an executive order so they could take credit for it), opportunity zones for black communities which gave loans to black Americans who lived in the areas to better their communities.
