Rogan understands that taking the more neutral position is beneficial to his brand. RFK is the safe choice because no one believes he will win. If he endorsed Trump or Harris, he is making a clear distinction where he stands politically. And it would alienate half his audience. Tim Pool did this for years until he couldn't anymore, and endorsed Trump. Rogan having Trump on could help or hurt Trump, so I don't get this idea that he doesn't want to help him. He can ask tough questions and wouldn't be able to avoid them. Joe wouldn't allow it. But Spotify wouldn't want Trump on, so he has to pretend he's neutral. In reality, Joe has inadvertently endorsed Trump many times, because he doesn't really trash him, but trashes Kamala. Recently, I saw a clip in which Rogan was asked who he thinks was the best president in recent decades. Rogan's answer: "Obama. Obama is my favorite. He was the best president". Well, this tells you everything you need to know. It's not surprising that someone who thinks that would rather vote for RFK than Trump. But there is still time for a change of mind. As for RFK, I like the man very much, but I wouldn't prefer him to Trump. Trump has already been president for 4 years. We don't have to speculate what kind of president he would be, we know it. We know what he is capable of, but we also know his flaws (his ego, which makes him susceptible to flatterer who only tell him what he wants to hear, sycophants who are secretly working against him, and yes-man who don't hesitate to stab him in the back). People who vote for Trump know exactly what they are getting. If I were Trump, I would hold back very much and not offend anyone. No reproaches or nasty words. Rogan's podcast has done a lot for Trump in recent years and it's Joe's right to vote for whoever he wants. For Trump it's a question of loyalty, but this isn't about personal feelings. People have to follow their conscience. However, if I was an acquaintance of Trump who doesn't intend to vote for him, I'd keep my mouth shut and not announce it publicly.

He blew the economy the first time, and most of the growth was thanks to the fed policy. I'd rather have trump than harris, but the whole "we were better off under trump" is such a false narritive, trump economically isn't that different, he still spent a bunch of money that we didn't have, and he had the beneifit of sub 1% rates. The fed has MUCH more impact on the economy than the president.... trump is great at taking credit but hopefully people aren't dumb enough to fall for it. Biden admin had record stock market too (which trump pointed too when he was pres as a sign he was doing a good job, which is nonsense)

It's this kind of behavior that is going to cost Trump the election. At this point he needs to come across as a more stately leader. He needs to turn down the rhetoric to win over undecided voters. Trump doesn't need to prove anything to conservatives. He needs to gain the confidence of those who are undecided. He should now step forward as a leader with the more positive message focusing only on the issues and previous poor record of the opposition.
