The O.J. case may not have garnered as much attention if Nicole were black, but it still wouid have received a lot of attention. I have seen two high profile cases that involved a major crime committed by a black male against a black female. I was in high school in Indianapolis when Mike Tyson went to trial on the rape case involving Desiree Washington. And I was in law school when Rae Carruth went to trial over the murder of his child's mother. Both of those trials captured the attention of the public.

It's so interesting watching the reactions to the death of Simpson. All of the shows I've seen are biased toward his guilt and toward his being a monster. No one speaks neutrally or with a tone of possible innocence.

I know. OJ was innocent.

Keep in mind, there was no eye witnesses...OJ had never killed anybody before so why start with Nicole Brown-simpson? OJ had been in a Jovial mood all week.😢

There were a few books written that questioned the assumption that O.J. Simpson was really guilty. "Killing Time" (1996) by Donald Freed and Raymond P. Briggs , "Evidence" (1996) by Joseph Bosco, "Blood Oath" by Carl Jasper and Steven Worth (1996).
