That's my complaint about this program. The program completely obviated the rule of law. So, two thoughts, black society isn't obligated to follow the laws because of their skin color? And, secondly, what is race a continuing theme surrounding this case? I think 48 hours has done the justice of crimes against women a disservice. This woman was brutally murdered and not a word about her. A step back in reporting about crimes against women. It's bad enough cops don't take us seriously and aren't trauma informed but the sentencing guidelines for crimes against women and children are negligible. I'm very unhappy with this report.

What he did was wrong but guess what money and status was likely the main reason she was with him. Women value money and material over morality. Not saying what he did was right but many women put themselves in dangerous situations for money and material. She probably has little genuine interest in oj besides money and fame and she was probably cheating with a person that she was actually attracted to then oj found out and snapped. Their are many similar stories of women using men not only emotionally but financially that they have little interest in, and I know men you women emotionally too but it's rare that a man uses women emotionally and financially.

Always will too. Something that I thought was profound was that they said OJ did not want to be judged by the color of his skin, but by character. And for a long time that's exactly what happened and they want to make it look like oh, he tried to not act like a black person and the white people accepted him. Think about that for a minute. He was still a black man. He still had black skin but he didn't go around acting like a fuzz making people feel uncomfortable. He did exactly what he wanted to do and he was treated like a normal celebrity. It didn't matter that he was black, but here in this kind of documentary every step of the way they're going to make it look like the white people were accepting him because he wasn't acting black and he never did try to associate the black people because of this and that. They just can't let stuff go. At the minute he acted like a criminal. They arrested him the minute that he killed people. They took him to court area. They didn't just pay wait a minute! OJ Simpson is the perfect example of tribalism being beyond stupid and dangerous. Despite this people will still be absolutely tribal and oblivious to the harm. My country, my race, my political party, my profession, my sports team, my community etc etc. This in-group preference will always allow humanity to excuse atrocities. Look at how well dehumanization works, time and again we see that the majority of humanity has little concern for the out-group and yet most insist on living within this tribal paradigm.

The reaction of the black activists in this episode to Simpson's acquitted is exactly what's wrong with classifying people as members of a race rather than individuals with their own will. There is no justification for rejoicing at the release of a brutal murderer; attempting to tie this with the Rodney King injustice is beyond despicable, and anyone doing that is a complete disgrace.
@kevinmalone3210

The black community reacted to the verdict of not guilty because of blacks being unjustly discriminated against by law enforcement, unfairly treated, murdered, and not receiving justice. They perceived OJ was being unfairly treated, and tried because of the past injustice against blacks. They put OJ in the same category. He was their superstar.

Some say it was actually his son Jason who did it and there was a lot of evidence that was pretty scary . About a month or two before she lost her life there was an article on the front page of one of the vocal papers talking about how she had a problem with his son and that she also believed he was peeking in her windows as a Peeping Tom . A detective spent years investigating inviting a book about it and interviewed a lot of people and he found out the police never properly checked out the alibi with the son and believed him . I did re-watch that documentary from his book a couple months ago and it might still be here : it's called O J Simpson is innocent and I can prove it ... actually now I recall they had changed the name of it but when you look for it that does come up but by a different name

He’s a narcissist who snapped one night and went homicidal after an extended period of time losing control over his ex-wife. That’s it, nothing more. His chameleonic properties come from the fact that narcissists only have a false self that they experience as their true self. They were “Not” looking at it as a homicide and spousal abuse case but only focused on just trying to prove a point (white vs black, racial disparity), by belittling the 2 lives lost😡..Sickening. All those cheerleaders should be ashamed of themselves, not because fighting for your rights is wrong but because this was “Not” the time for it. The fact that he was well known didn’t help either.
