My favorite movie is "ONCE." Have you ever seen it, Rupa Sensei? A touching story with an unbelievable soundtrack.

@@Rupasensei It really is a cool movie. Kind of slow, you know - typical 'British' feel to it (even although it's actually Irish,) but it always reminds me of home. I hear they had the musical on stage over here in Tokyo a few years back. I love the song "Falling slowly."🤗

毎回楽しいレッスンだと思います。今回は、実にユーモアたっぷりで面白いと感じました。 I think it's a fun lesson every time. This time, I found it really interesting with lots of humor.
This movie just cracks me up! 🤩Such a great choice! I love the phrase - "You probably get this a lot." I'll try and teach this in my lessons next week. Cheers! 🤘🏻

Im a native english speaker but i still like to watch these videos because they make me realize how much we combine words/syllables seamlessly when we speak, really interesting, and id asume other languages do this a lot too

Why does "I didn't think so" mean "だと思った"?🤔Does "I thought so" mean the opposite?
@Rupasensei3 жыл бұрын
I think it's because he is agreeing to the negative statement "Umm, no (Caesar didn't live here)". If the statement was positive such as "Yes", Allan would have said "I thought so" : )
