Thank you. I just got the Rocket S 48L and am thinking about SK8's. This was very helpful.

Hi!! Thanks for sharing!! Just a question: which of the two foils (eagle vs. sk8) has better lower wind capability and lower stall speed? I tested the sk8 950 (jibes and tacks level) on flat water (68 kg, 5.0 Strike V2, 75 L) and was struggling to come on the foil at 12-15 knots. Probably the wrong pumping technique, but I found it a really difficult foil compared to my Phantom 1280. Maybe I should have tested the 1050. cheers! Jordan

Nice review boys. Would you say the sk81050 is also for light wind? Pumping on board as easy as with a ss1400 or phantom 1480? Im 80kg. Thanks for your help🤙🤙

Hi Mate! We will have to get back to you on this after next week when we receive the 1050 for demo. We only been riding the 750. what we can say is that the Sk8 is much faster then the phantom and the Seven Seas. less forgiving but more full power. :)

@surfskolan Crew any updates on the bigger sizes? 73kg and would like to get going in 10 knots with the wing - 850, 950, or 1050?

What does the bloke weigh that is prone foiling - would you say 750 is the right size for those conditions?
@surfskolancrew205 Жыл бұрын
Hi mate! the prone guy Jacob is 75 kg 175 cm the Sk8 750 is the perfect size for him. if you are bit heavier the 850 will do the job. :)

@@surfskolancrew205 that's a small foil with a short span. They must have some secret sauce in that foil section 🤔

@@bradridolfi in smaller waves the bigger sizes will probably do the job. Its hard to see in this edit put the prone wave actually had a bit of power to it. :)

@@surfskolancrew205 in Western Australia so the waves have quite a high period. Will try out that 850 (85kg) as a starting point. What tail and fuse are you liking?
