in case of f prime formation both chromosomal bacterial DNA and plasmid DNA are present on both DNA so both of DNA have transfer capability?

Yes it doesn't mean that they will always do conjugation for plasmid.....some time they transfer or exchange other material also through conjugation tube.

Gustavo Pinheiro Well isn't it the medium by which the genetic material gets transferred? The tunnel sort of makes sense as it is the means by which the genetic material goes to the recipient.
