Doro Pesch begann ihre Metalkarriere bei diversen Underground-Combos ihrer Heimatstadt Düsseldorf, bis sie 1983 Warlock gründete, die bis zu ihrer Trennung 1988 als die unbestrittenen Superstars des deutschen Metal-Undergrounds galten.
Als die Band 1986 beim renommierten Monsters of Rock Festival in England auftrat, war Doro eine der ersten Frauen überhaupt, die eine Metalband anführte. Nach Tourneen mit den ganz Großen der Szene trennte sich Doro 1988 von Warlock und begann ihre erfolgreiche Solokarriere. Auf Bitte der Rock Hard-Macher gibt Doro ein exklusives Achtziger-Jahre-Set zum Besten, inklusive der Warlock-Hits.
