My observation with GP legend is that it's generally pointless to go as fast as you can go since you can never build a gap - the CPU cars are always right behind you no matter what, and the closest car is always the last CPU car you saw last, the others are randomized. No way GPL black bull is capable of being that nimble behind you, but once it's ahead of you, its true clumsiness is revealed. Not sure if this is true in Climax, but it's an interesting observation.

@LuwiigiMaster Climax is interesting when it comes to CPU behavior. The game keeps track of each racer accurately, and rubber banding is not a problem on 95% of the tracks. Lighting Trust Jump and Fire Field are the only tracks where the CPU cars tend to catch up with unnatural speed.

@@renyama8524 interesting, I guess the programming must've gotten a lot better between these two games. I wonder how GPL wound up so, "eh", when Climax, the following year, was so great. Probably the first was being made to tie into the anime, and concurrently climax was also being made.

Lmao outsped by Black Shadow on Sand Ocean ray is so sad I wonder how much more fun ray would be with good handling and speed retention in gpl/climax

My monitor burned the map on my screen. what the actual f000k. never though a video could brick a monitor. ASUS got to be kidding me.

@gitshell That's really unfortunate. I had a similar thing happen to me once, but it took about 5 hours of the game being paused on the same screen. Hopefully, if you give the monitor a break for a couple of hours, it might recover.

@ExiledQ It's considered to be the easiest F-Zero game to complete, but it doesn't make it any less fun!
