Now I can see why Nintendo would hesitate to remaster this one. They’d have to rework the tracks to avoid exploits like this for online play or leave it in and keep the skill gap steep. It wouldn’t fly online. At a glance it would make sense, but in practice it doesn’t. Mario Kart 8 deluxe has this issue but to significantly lesser degree. You _can_ squeeze out a win from time to time, no such luck with the way things are with F-Zero GX.
