Aha , hilarious, i remember playing this on the n64 years ago and there was an track when all 29 racers in front of me died so i slowed right down and discovered a crazy bend like the first one in your map

Its funny cause when that happens and you still have the time to slow down that means that part of the track is REALLY bad. Unless you have your machine tuned to all/mostly Max Speed the game is programmed to have your Grand Prix "main rival" to hang around you even if you're lower in the standings. That's why you see in this video Dr. Clash being alive a lot of the time, whenever I slow down he also slammed the brakes as well to chill near me. So if EVERYONE dies even when you're slowed down that part is REALLY bad hehe...
