Schumacher did a great job to get that far on thoose tyres.

Schumacher cutting the chicane gained an advantage then closed the door on Pedro De La Rosa. Like James Allen said it seemed he decided to let De La Rosa past then changed his mind and cut across him.

Schumacher did a great job to keep De La Rosa behind him for that long considering the state Schumachers tyres were in. And the Ferrari was quicker down the straight.

The Ferrari had really good straight line speed.

@@NoHacksTSR I Mentioned that because Pedro De La Rosa couldn’t pass Schumacher down the Pit Straight because the Ferrari had great straight line speed.

@@NoHacksTSR The Ferrari kept pulling away in the 2nd half of the straight better straight line speed than the McLaren. That’s why De La Rosa couldn’t overtake him down the pit straight he wasn’t close enough at the end of the straight at the first corner.

I think most of it was due to Engine Power the McLaren MP4-21 has less HP than Ferrari and Renault. The car was pretty good and Kimi really liked it suited him and Kimi showed stunning pace at times during the season especially in Qualifying and some races. Some of his qualifying performances early in the season weren’t that good made mistakes l

Ferrari had the most Powerful engine in 2006.

People say the car was Mediocre. But I think it was better than that.

Schumacher's tyres were bold finished he did an amazing job to get that far on thoose Tyres and to defend from De La Rosa and Heidfeld.

McLaren MP4-21 a very good looking car sexy lovely colour striking but not a great car not allways on the Pace of Ferrari or Renault. The car was quite good and they did improve the car before Monza and they also improved the engine.
