Oh for sure! Tyre wear has a major effect on grip levels and your overall pace. Same story with the different tyre compounds. Codemasters do a great job simulating that in the F1 games 👌

Why are you starting the race from the last row?

I prefer to start from the back so I can attack the field and try all kinds of overtakes instead of starting towards the front and having to defend my position all race long. The defending could get quite tedious and repetitive in a full 100% race. I believe that this way is more entertaining as it has me both attacking and defending during the race.

i love your driving but these races are way too predictable..... you start 20th and after 5 laps everybody already knows you're going to win at the end: you're too dominant or when you're not, the A.I. helps you (think SPA). Why don't you try to make it more real? it would be a lot more fun. I think 102% difficulty can be a better choice.
