@THOMB3 жыл бұрын
Thank you! I am actually quite surprised you were able to put traction down to medium on a keyboard, haha! A controller or especially wheel would make it a lot easier for sure, as you don’t have to be at either 0% or 100% input but can go in between as well :) good luck!

Do you have any tips to reduce oversteer because I apply minimum amount of pressure on the accelerator and I always spin which is weird ?
@THOMB3 жыл бұрын
You could change your car setup to give you more understeer instead of oversteer. I am honestly not that great at building setups myself, but the default setup is a good starting point to counteract oversteer and get a little more understeer :) good luck!

I need help , I am just faster with medium traction control no matter what . I practice every day . What is the secret ?I do as you say with the accelerator but I'm faster on medium
@THOMB4 жыл бұрын
Unfortunately Codemasters has made the medium traction relatively overpowered compared to no traction control. No traction control will be faster in the end, but the margins are very small and it will take a lot of focus and practice to become faster with no traction. One of the tips I could give you is try and make the transition from no power to full power as smooth as you can, so keep your foot on the accelerator in corners (very minor input!). Hope this helps.
@kylian82954 жыл бұрын
@@THOMB That is what I thought . Can you tell me what are the best ways to practice?Time trial? Long races?
@THOMB4 жыл бұрын
LSG_Kylian it is player specific ofcourse but I reckon time trial is the easiest to practice trial and error. Atleast that’s how I would do it. Longer races are better to improve consistency

I’m just venturing into starting to switch off assists gradually. What would be the best way to go about it. Start with no ABS or move down to medium traction first? Thanks
@THOMB3 жыл бұрын
The best thing to do is to put all assists off at once, but I can understand this might be a little scary, I would focus on disabling ABS as the last assist and going traction first, so you can get a feel of the pedals and throttle input :) I got a video about ABS and braking as well if you’re interested 💪

The only difference between console and PC is minor differences in the handling (PC more grip through corners, consoles better traction or whatever it is nowadays haha). Kerbs should be the same on both! 😁 thanks for watching edgar!

How to start practicing driving without traction control? Time trial, career or maybe in lobby (practice)? What do you recommend?

I’d say Time Trial is the perfect place to do so as you can get away with trial and error as you can just restart the lap whenever you want 😊

I actually had a hard time breaking cos my tyres always seemed to lock up. What helped me was downshifting gears earlier. Ikd what happens if you do that in career, maybe you may break your engine faster, but that is just a guess. But since I started using manual gear I almost never lock up.
