It’s funny that they changed Zhou’s display name to “Guanyu,” his personal name. His family name is still Zhou, he just puts it first because he’s Chinese. You can tell that way back when the game was first being written, the devs never expected a driver who didn’t use Western name order.

I think in the very first interview at the start of the game where you boost certain facilities, there are options to praise them or one of the options doesnt upgrade anything, so in theory if you answered the questions a certain way then your car starts with no upgrades and you are either the worst or tied for worst I think. But when you do that interview it upgrades the areas you talk highly of.

I remember I got to know about F1 from Ben's F1 2016 career mode videos only. I watched one episode at random and it was so engaging later on I went on to watch like 86 videos within span of 3-4 days. Since then a kid was hooked to the world of Formula 1 till date and became a nerd of F1 from the 2017 season. It's crazy how far Ben has come from those days and how the actual F1 game has developed. Super stoked for this series and always massive respect to Ben for unknowingly being the man who taught me every intricate detail about F1. Hope you hit the million mark soon.

27:31 "would you believe". Funny thing actually... The player ALWAYS lost time in Bahrain and Malaysia on the straights since F1 2013. Some KZbinrs picked this issue up over the years, but they always thought it was the ride height, or the engine mapping, or the ERS deployment or the AI having better traction on the exit of T2. Almost a decade later, Malaysia is off the calendar and Bahrain is still not fixed. Lol Edit: Boy is it obvious that F1 2017.6 has just been released! Well done Codemasters!

in my opinion, moving the colour to somewhere between 190 and 210, saturation 240 & luminance around 33 to 66, it's a much richer shade of purple, more red than blue in the tone helps it pop & gives it that berry colour.

i have a great strategy to help with tyre temps. Start race with hards and nicely warm them up during formation lap. Later on, you can pit for soft/medium depending on tyre wear and they will take less time to bring to optimal temperature than the hards. Basically, start on the harder compound of your two choices.

For the box pit entry, its not necessary to turn on that "window" its more about the actual turning so you need it to press it earlier than it says in order to actually time it purple. Further, there's a human being delay. So by the time you think "I need to press it now" and the time the input of the bottom being pressed is detected there's a delay that may really be your issue.
