Hm, I know it would probably be frustrating for some players but I actually would prefer it if there were no ghosting in career mode, just for realism. Like 5 drivers would have been out due to that Ricciardo pile-up. It kinda breaks immersion seeing all those ghosts as soon as a car stops on track tbh

In my experience the AI backs out way to easy when you overtake. Especially when you are going for a late move. Just park it next to them and they will give space. Just like f1 2016

They didn't, it's actually bugs. I have had things like this happen in every F1 game from 2017 till now. I really feel like it's not actually coded that way. Look at Schumacher's crash in this video for example. Look at the way he steered. It wasn't a correction, he just wanted to overtake on the right but there was a wall there. No driver would ever make that type of mistake, it just has to be a bug.

New team, new car, sounds pretty reasonable to me. Look at the ferrari and red bull in real life, a good number of engines failing between them so far. The Mercedes should be the most reliable engines in the game rather than the ferrari, but slower than both Honda and ferrari.

Straight line speed isnt that much of an issue imo. The acceleration out of the corner is insane for some AI cars. 5min ago i raced in miami and ocon outspeeded me like hell after the last corner 🤯 and only because of his insane acceleration

Like when you give your personal data for something legal, you often say something like "Russell, George M". But in general you say George Russell. But guess what, it's just a name pronunciation, is not the end of the world.

Love the series but the AI backs out of overtakes way too easily. Is there any setting or slider you can change? It takes away from the realism when you have the extra confidence in overtakes, knowing the AI will back out before touching you even slightly.

When I did this race, the AI glitched and all of their pace was roughly 10 seconds slower than me on 85 difficulty. Don't know why. I started from the back of the grid because of bad qualifying and nearly managed to lap everyone twice.

They definitely are OP on straights. Even with slipstream and drs I barely manage to catch up while drivers in worse cars just fly right past me. Edit: No point in using TC. That just stalls the car. I'm aware TC usually makes you slower but in this game it actually feels like the engine is broken.

I know you put the settings to gain lower points, but I wish teammates wouldn't be so brain dead when it comes to practice programs. Like even Dani Ricc on last year's game ended up earning a lot of points only at the end and with a maxed out car. So is not because Piastri's a rookie. It would be cool if there was a % chance balance offset, like say maximum points you could get doing everything perfectly, minus the average driver's skill, minus a % due to car performance and time the driver's had with it. So they could earn say half of maximum points at least in the beginning, and then lower because of your settings. I understand that could be too OP, but it could be adjusted and balanced. It would make it more immersive and more of an impact, than coming off the practice and seeing "96" points vs 400 something. PS: Great video, super fun, also it sucked that both MM drivers DNF'd. Let's get it in Ostrelia m8.
