First of all, thanks for uploading this, oh, and the new motion system is just perfect, but I have a question: I want your professional and objective opinion about the handling in F1 24; I have the game on early access, and I can't help but sense that the front end of the car is too pointy, much more sensitive than F1 23, while the rear of the car simply feels too stiff and unresponsive. I thought at first it was me (I prefer understeer and thought my settings were on default) but nothing works, no matter how much I change my setups. What's your opinion about this? Verstappen helped develop the physics of the car, a driver notorious for his aggressive and oversteery style, but I can't help but feel that something is off. Thanks in advance, and wonderful work, as always!

I understand everyone has their own driving style and preferences, but an F1 car should be pointy and aggressive at the front end. Compared to F1 cars in iRacing or Assetto Corsa (since I'm not an actual F1 driver), it's still not as good as those, but it feels better than F1 23. When I see people saying F1 24 is undrivable, I wonder if they use "bad" wheelbases, wrong settings, or maybe there's a bug. On my setup, it feels quite good.

@@ProjectSimRacing no man, you just are not a fast driver, you have no clue what you are talking about, look at the top e-sport drivers using the car... you know people who actually push the car to the limit, it looks awfull, the more stearing imput the more grip, which is alien to real life, more rotation induces understeer, not only that but the suspention work is a big step back, curbs are a joke and the car feels like a tank, and if you take it that the rotation of the wheel now feels disconected at 360 and only felt good for me at about 450-500 it shows how out of whack this thing is, i love your set up and everything but you are seconds out of pace driving with AI, so yet probably whatever would feel good to you

Also, this is from my own personal experience, so I don't really know who says the cars are "undriveable" because I don't follow the online racing community much. @@matheusbarrel You don't have to be so rude to him, but you're completely right about one thing: the handling sucks. I had to adjust the steering input to 500 degrees to make the car turn smoothly at low speed corners. It feels completely counterintuitive! Every time I touch the wheel, I feel like a 4 year old back in my father's apartment with a Logitech budget wheel on Gran Turismo 4, it's like I'm learning how to drive again! Kerbs are also, what, basically nonexistent; I remember quiting ACC back in the day for the same thing, but at that time, it was the other way around, kerbs had the power to eject you in the exosphere. Anyway, enough rambling! I agree with you! Just don't be so insensitive. We're all a community here.

However, it depends a lot on the content you create, your audience, and the quality of your videos.If your main goal is to make money, a gaming channel might not be the best choice since they tend to earn less compared to other types of content. I earn significantly less than many other KZbinrs. But for me, it was never just about the money. I'm passionate about cars and wanted to share that passion through my channel. So, while it's possible to make a living from KZbin, it requires a lot of dedication, quality content, and a bit of luck. But if you never try, you'll never know 😉

the problem with vr recordings, is the continuous head vibrations. you are constantly moving your head around and not keeping it stable, which might be a hard thing to do because you have a force-feedback wheel shaking your arms all the time. you might have a good experience inside vr, but for the viewers, its impossible to focus on a continuously shaking and moving screen as we see this on a stable monitor screen. eyes find it difficult to adjust. it would look a lot better and nice to look at, if you record your monitor screen with a different camera setup.

This isn't VR 😁 I use a helmet-mounted GoPro and this setup: kzbin.info/www/bejne/hp6sYYl-itiEprssi=7Fc-5s2LrIk-WcK8 What you see are my arms, wheel, feet, and the screens in front of me. The shaking comes from my motion rig, trying to give viewers a realistic feel of driving. Real F1 helmet cam videos also show a lot of movement. I appreciate your feedback and always aim to balance realism with viewer comfort. If the shaking is too much, I'll consider turning the motion system down a bit. Your enjoyment is important to me!

@@ProjectSimRacing i think i saw your video long time ago, when you first started making these new setup videos... it was that first video where you commented that those are not in-game hands, but you own real hands on wheel. i saw your video again after years, and now i remember that old video was from you only. its my bad, i made mistake in recalling what you started. some people might even get motion sickness from this shaking, but i think its fine for your setup. I am also aware of the extreme shaking of video from the helmet cam in F1 helmets, which are not really pleasant to watch. this is why the F1 broadcasters avoid putting a lot of videos them that angle.

It's partly because Mercedes moved the driver cockpit further to the front, and Hamilton has been vocal about not feeling connected to the rear of the car. It makes sense-if you sit too far forward, it's harder to feel what's happening at the back.
