This is something that became super obvious to me in 23 as well. Looking at the fastest guys, they'd always jump to somewhere between 50-80% depending on specifics. Seemed crazy at first but makes a lot of sense.

Interesting, have to give it a go in my non F1 car.

The lower power the car the more you can jump on throttle.

@@carsonf1 Just to get this straight, this technique is used once corner entry is complete and exit is to commence. It reduces the likelihood of understeer when turning out of the corner by inducing the rear to rotate due to the sudden acceleration application.

This has been obvious to me for years that the eSports guys do it, but I just can't get myself to do it. I am programmed to do it more gradually. My "jump on throttle" would pretty much never be more than 15%. This is something I know I have to work on, but it's hard imo 😅

Thank you for this tutorial! I should ask how much time do you usually gain from throttle jumping?
@carsonf12 ай бұрын
Hey, probably a few tenths per corner imo. All fast drivers are using this technique. The throttle jump was even stronger on F1 23 too. thx
