F1 Circuit Zandvoort renovation 13th and 16th January 2020

Renovation update of Circuit Zandvoort for Formula 1 status.
The first Dutch GP race since 1985 will be on May 3rd this year.
In this video a closer look at the Hugenholtz and Arie Luyendyk turns which will have banking to get more speed for overtaking possibilities.
You also see at 2 points of the track where tunnels are made for pedestrians and the track has been closed again on top.

Prachtig weer Jorg! Het schiet al behoorlijk op! Het lijkt erop dat de Hugenholtz klaar is voor asfalt! Toffe fly-by op de Arie Luijendijk, in dat shot kan je goed zien hoe de banking is! Van bovenaf lijkt hij ineens platter maar dat shot stelt me gerust 😁 Bedankt weer hoor!

@@chrisk3479 it happened beacuse Michelin was stupid to not ask F1 for indianapolis emergency tests before the race also pirelli also have experience with oval racing due giving tires to IMSA and other US GT racing that run in some ovals

Prachtige beelden weer, Jorg. Van al het F1 nieuws zijn jou beelden het boeienst Dank ! De 'muziek' mag wel wat zachter aub. Het blijft overigens jammer dat bocht 10 niet ruimer word gemaakt met daarin een lichte verkanting zoals de Tarzanbocht heeft...een gemiste kans, beste Jan (Lammers).

T10 zou meer een bocht moeten worden a là Parabolica op Monza voor betere uitrem mogelijkheden bij de Hans Ernst bocht. T13 sneller maken zodat vanaf de Hans Ernst bocht volgas richting het rechte stuk kan worden gereden. Het liefst zie ik nog dat T9 wordt verlegd naar T13 en een tweede Tarzan bocht wordt waardoor in principe een extra inhaalmogelijkheid wordt gecreëerd.

@@turbolov3r Wat bocht 10 betreft: je zegt precies wat ik voor ogen heb; exact! Voor het overige vind ik dat het circuit met de huidige aanpassingen perfect word. Jan (Lammers) zegt terecht dat het karakter zoveel mogelijk behouden hoort te blijven en daar ben ik het ook mee eens.

Helaas zou dit wel niet mogen, zelf tijdens het race weekend in Spa wel gevlogen buiten de races om. (In de avond bijv.)

Met drone vliegen zal helaas niet mogen. Er zal wel een tijdelijke no- fly zone worden ingesteld vanwege de vele helicopters om mensen te transporteren, maar ga er ook vanuit dat er een helicopter is die alles gaat filmen vanuit alle hoeken van het circuit. Ik ben zeer benieuwd hoe dit er uit zal komen te zien, wordt altijd mooi gefilmd.

The old Zandvoort track was notorious for getting coated in sand from the dunes making it very slippery and almost undrivable, so how are they going to control the sand on the track?

@@ArmAMajor But the sand blowing across the track was the reason Zandvoort was deemed a dangerous track and how it lost the Grand Prix. Today they have sprays to keep the sand down and Bahrain doesn't have the dune grass like Zandvoort does, not the high wind off the North Sea.

Nou het ligt in de Duinen, zoals je ziet aan de beelden is er flink wat hoogte hier en daar - lijkt mij dat stuk rond Zandvoort eerder een soort (schier)eiland wordt, dan dat het circuit onderloopt of zo.

Progress looks good. Them banked corners are gonna be ace. Sad thing remains that Zandvoort is still the only racetrack wit a soundblocking wall along the straight. This sums up the might the green rats have in this country. Mind you, these soundwalls are there so them trailerpark idiots don't suffer from the noise of the racecars. Zandvoort racetrack emerged in 1948, waaay before this trailerpark was there. On top of that, when the F1 Grandprix is being run, this park'll be closed!

bedankt voor je comment! Ja de muziek is niet echt mijn stijl, maar heb altijd problemen om leuke mooie toepasselijke muziek te vinden waar geen rechten op zitten. In KZbin music library is het allemaal niet veel soeps en zijn over het algemeen hele korte nummers. Heb jij een link of ken je site waar je goeie muziek zonder rechten kunt downloaden?
