I went recently to see if it was any good, would not go back! Huge delay to our race due to a lady crashing and crying her eyes out. Wasn't assigned a kart and the trackside staff made me go to race control to fix it for them. Then my kart was super slow during quali (15 secs off the pace), I stopped to let a marshal know and it wouldn't start again. Then halfway through the race my new kart was slowing down at a few points on the track leading to me tumbling down the order and getting bumped in the butt constantly as the other drivers weren't expecting anyone to slow in those spots! Was a mess of a day overall and the staff seemed more interested in flirting with each other than dealing with customers. All that for the most expensive kart session I've tried. I got maybe 10 mins of clean running at full power. Still, the start of the race was fun as I don't usually do standing starts (until someone spun on turn 3 of course and the yellows came out). The thing I noticed with the yellows is that some karts took longer to register yellows than others. But those same karts would then take longer to register it going green again, meaning it was total luck if this staggered slowdown helped or hindered them, depending where they were on track.

It's the shutter speed for a sense of speed. I normally go for around 1/96 with 24fps to get some nice motion blur and sense of speed. As it was quite dark on here, I upped the ISO and set the shutter speed to auto. This makes each frame sharper and so the sense of speed is reduced. The karts themselves aren't that fast as well but no less than other indoor tracks. They're electric biz karts, commonly found at other indoor tracks. The elite session runs them at speed 4 with other sessions at 3 or below.

I had to bump up the ISO though as it was quite dark inside so it added some grain to the video. When karting outdoors where there is a lot more light, I like to use 4k30 with a shutter speed of around 1/96 to give some motion blur and add to the sense of speed.
