Nigel, just a thought. It may be worth considering covering that high density foam with some fire retardant material, if there were a fire those fumes right by your head are probably not a good thing.

Ideal 2024 would be you and Jakey racing at a revamped Coventry (especially back straight toilet block which always leaked onto pi road, squelchy)! Love your blog and agree that the in car was superb. Even with all your stress of driving, you were still shouting for Jake 😂. Are your difficulties with Ryan's car due to driving style, or is it being difficult the reason he sold it in the first place ?

@NigelHarrhy Glad you see you are still in the mind to get used to it. Take the rest of the year off, though, to give the ribs a rest. Seeing your blogs has reignited my love for the support after the pandemic turned me into a bit of a hermit, and I'm struggling to get my mind back into going out for fun. Watched a meeting at birmingham wheels from 2017 last night in which they had an interveiw with you talking about how you got into F1. That's another track that has been lost never to return. Enjoy your rest mate.
