You cannot tell me this sound doesn’t give you eargasm. Will never get how some of the fans think this is noise and such. Granted the current V6 hybrid turbos cars maybe faster and technologically more advanced but the sight and sound of a naturally aspirated V10 F1 cars just gives you goosebumps

Pretty sure they recently drove a v10 and it got the same lap time as a brand new v6 all while the driver was told to go easy on it
@dukcy74503 жыл бұрын
@@dixiefire1337 yeah cuz the f2004 could run on special practice/quali tires, designed specifically for that car AND go on optimized fuel load for flying laps. New cars have all these restrictions like weight and fuel requirements, as well as only 3 kinds of tires, so im not surprised a lighter f2004 could go toe to toe at monza with a new car.

@@jannadrielcervo7753 Tobacco sponsorships weren’t banned they just couldn’t be so glaringly obvious on the cars. The sponsorships were running up to 2019 for Ferrari and Mclaren. The issue wasn’t who was going to fit the bill, it truly was the spending. I read an article that for every 20 cylinder head castings, BMW would make, only 2 of them were viable due to the high strung standards of those engines and a design that wasn’t big on durability (aka a lot of casting thin sections.

Its a shame that people seem to think F1 needs to evolve with the motor industry, like why should it. If F1 can evolve the logistics to lower the carbon footprint of transport between races then why shouldn't we be able to reintroduce v10's or v8's.
