And very high rpm boosted motors. F1 cars are ridiculously fast
@RodrigoRodriguezowl3 жыл бұрын
Down force is one of the things helpings the f1 take the corner faster, but overall the f1 is faster by default compared to a great, higer revs, higer torque, better tire compound
@jackcolson47453 жыл бұрын
@@RodrigoRodriguezowl it's actually just more horsepower. I'd bet you the gt cars have the same or more torque than the f1 v8's, it's the horsepower that allows the f1 cars to do that high rpm.

Check out Mark Webber’s overtaking at this location 👍🍻

Yeah, I remember. That overtake was ballsy and scary like hell. Mark Webber never won the title but he had both the heart and balls of a true champion. Respect.

I've noticed an old R8 LMS GT3 and 458 GT3 racing alongside the GT1 and GT2 cars at one point (in the video on the right), so at which race/event was that video filmed? Was it at the Spa Classic? And what year?

this shows you how the differently made cars have to take pretty different lines to be fast

I found out yesterday that the cars just go round and round in a loop. It's not just driving along a road for miles and miles, they actually keep going around one small loop.
