I mean anyone with a brain knows that the car with downforce will leave the bike in the dust over literally any race be it sprint, drag, or GP. That being said, Superbike/MotoGP racers are probably some of the gnarliest dudes alive, the balls it takes to ride those things the way they do is just insane.

Hey Scott, you have any experience with bikes? If yes or no it would be interesting a video on a trackday or something. You could say what for you are the major differences physically and mentality (what you need to recalibrate like racing lines, turn in etc etc). More like a reaction video(for the experience) than tecnical.

Hey love the content but i think u can polish it by changing the text to be more central, brighter and bigger to capture attention better as well as (Maybe) music and finally rlly expressing ur voice. In not saying ur voice is bad or lacks expression but if u increase expressions especially at the beginning to hook viewers it would help improve content. in 2020 there was the F1 and Moto GP race in Portimao next to each other and the F1 cars quali times were arround 20 secs faster which was insane for me

It depends on the track, f1 cars will not perform well on motorcycle tracks against motorcycles because there are good amount of straights where bikes come in advantage because of how quick and light they are

So bikes are better acceleration. But F1 corners much faster. Im guessing road bikes would beat any road car in a street race then? You always hear people saying their car could outrun a police car but I think only a bike beats the Feds???

MGP bikes are just a bit faster than SBs, But they are way way slower than F1. Just compare lap records on tracks where both race.

MotoGP or wbsk bike loose lots of time at corner. Recently f1 car, MotoGP bike, and all sports cars did drag race. MotoGP bike was the ultimate winner you will find video on KZbin.

To put you in the perspective a bit, The GP bike is faster on the straight only because of F1's downforce based aero. If you dressed F1 in different, streamlined clothes the bike wouldn't get a sniff. To make you understand things a bit better, just compare drag times of cars and bikes, the difference is worlds apart.

Any kind of car, in this case F1 = 20% driver skill 80% Engineering skill of the car. SportsBike / MotoGP bike = 80% driver skill and 20% Engineering skill of the bike. that is the difference, and also obvious why the car is faster. as a "biker" it hurts to say this. but it is what it is.

Grip is the main factor, if bikes had more traction they would corner faster but the contact patch of motorcycle tires is so small it limits how fast we can go.

@@bzilla1090 I know that’s why I said. It still doesn’t mean what the other dude commented is wrong because it doesn’t take as much skill to lay down lap time equal to the bike if you are in an f1 car, and almost all cars these days are driven almost entirely by a computer and engineering

@@Loli.slayer F1 cars have 0 driver aids, everything has been banned, no traction control, stability control nothing, so no nothing is driven by electronics, it's basically analog and has been for years, driver aids have been outlawed for years now.

In a drag race the bike is limited trying to keep the front wheel down. So they are similar off the line, but once the speed comes up the f1 driver gets the grip needed to put their foot down and will suddenly leave the bike standing as demonstrated by the drag race with Button driving. Not at all like a normal road car where your greatest rate of acceleration is below 60.

on a dragrace the motorcycle will win, the f1 catches up because of cornering (the ownforce advantage) that the bike cant to that good. bot on a straight the bike will win, if we compare top notch bike and f1 which means motoGP which has probably 270++hp/l with their NA engines o.o still want one of those!

@@johannesdatblue4164 I don't think you understand or appreciate what I said. The length of the drag race and vehicle setups could swing the result either way so it's academic. What is impressive about a bike is that you can get F1 performance levels almost off the shelf so cheaply.

No. Select any racing bike with any racing driver and you get the same outcome. Or surprise us, by showing a bike/driver combination that has managed to get even close to the F1 lap times... "I want to root for the bike" is not a good reason to take it to the next level and actually expect a different outcome. And something adulthood experience is expected to help understand.

@perwestermark8920 Goes without saying that the F1's lap time will be quicker but Guy Martin on a superbike isn't the sharp end of what a bikes capable of.
