FIA needs to keep its nose out of these battles if no accident is occasioned. This was fair, hard racing. Years ago in Club Racing, if One went into a corner even slightly in front you held your racing line and if the other guy didn't back off, he went wide. It's not rocket science but some folk do like to over-complicate things with petty rules.

@@3082frank Well Ferrari has the strongest Engine and Honda Red Bull has the fastest car with Ferrari second and Mercedes 5th, Mercedes has been winning because of Hamilton being the best driver making his championship run, but he's 36 and Max Ver is young 23 and in his prime the switch in power was inevitable Norris is still a baby 21 but can driver himself, Norris is destined for greatness. I can see why Mclaren decided to go with the Mercedes engine again and not build their own. But it looks like it's Red Bulls time to shine until Norris gets more experience instead of always freaking out LOL. Hamilton might get one more championship his 8th before his contract ends in two years he's retiring.

Even after they "allowed" the battle they still had to overthink the teamorder in bottas favour so he wouldn't be caught by Norris and both lose less time. I felt like they really struggled to make this decision, whereas the otherway round it's a short "it's James, let him pass". Bottas was way faster, Norris as well and they had to overthink it and deny racing in first line! That's how much Hamilton has to say in that team and how much bottas does. Nevertheless I accept the fact that Lewis is the better driver. Even if he was less preferred and less lucky than it was past the years. He earned it to be the preferred one in difficult moments.
