Bearman’s brilliance aside, this is quite a landmark edit for various reasons 1) Finally transcribing the radio comms, which for some reason was missing on Inside Story videos 2) Constantly marking the live position of the car (with driver immediately ahead and behind) 3) Most importantly, getting Sky F1 commentary as snippets as well. Hamilton did experience growing pains even in his first title winning season in 2008. In Bahrain and Japan he made bad starts, panicked in his attempt to undo the damage, leaving him worse than he started, finishing well outside the points. In Canada, he and McLaren were too preoccupied with the loss of the lead to notice the red light was on at the end of the pit lane, resulting in him running into the back of Kimi Raikkonen, taking them both out.

@sadikurrahman4833 the point I was getting at was that it was expected that Hamilton would make mistakes, after all, it was only his second full season of F1 and unlike his phenomenal debut season, where he admitted that he was largely out of the loop when it came to him making the headlines, the pressure was on for his second season, especially as Alonso had left McLaren to return to Renault. All 3 of the leading contenders for the 2008 title had peaks and valleys, in other words, for every moment of brilliance they displayed, they had moments of madness as well
